Grade 9 Students Speak Up Against To***co 🚭

As part of their presentation on social issues, our Grade 9 students addressed the serious issue of to***co use and addiction. Through their presentation, they highlighted its harmful effects on individuals, families and society, while encouraging everyone to make healthy and responsible choices.

Meaning of some key words:

- To***co – a harmful substance used in products such as ci******es and chewing to***co.
- Addiction – a strong and difficult-to-control dependence on something.
- Awareness – understanding and knowledge about an issue.
- Prevention – action taken to stop something harmful from happening.
- Ni****ne – an addictive chemical found in to***co.
- Peer pressure – influence from friends or others to behave in a certain way.

Creating a love for reading and developing a strong reading culture among children, especially those in rural communities, is one of our priorities. 📚📰

Many children today rarely read newspapers or magazines. Through this small initiative, we hope to encourage our students to stay informed, think critically, and develop the habit of updating themselves with current events.

A child who reads today becomes a knowledgeable and responsible leader tomorrow.
