Special Speech on Understanding and Appreciating Different Culture by Mr. Yogendra Pratap Singh (T.G.T. Hindi)

Initiated in 1999, GREEN Olympiad is one of the leading flagship programs of TERI. It is designed in an innovative manner so as to test knowledge levels of students about environment and sustainable development issues. Genesis of GREEN Olympiad (GO) rests on a vision that awareness about sustainable development issues will provide an empowered youth stewardship for our planet. GREEN Olympiad enriches interdisciplinary knowledge, skills, and eco- values necessary for achieving sustainable development. Information gained through participation in this Olympiad is translated into environment improvement activities at the school level. Over the last 2 decades, GO for schools has evolved as an asset of immense academic potential.
Students of SRVS Sikanderpur participated in Green Olympiad and achieved certificates along-with their mentors Mr Saurabh Singh and Mr Kundan Singh.
Principal of the School Mr Manish Khanna congratulated all the students and Teacher in-charges for conducting the examination.

Winning doesn’t always mean being first. Winning means you’re doing better than you’ve ever done before.

Our school organised House -Wise Quiz Competition-2023 for classes VI-VIII on 28 August,2023 .The Quiz was hosted by Mr.Prabhat Kumar (Academic Advisor) where top three participants were represented from each house.Total five rounds were there after final round Blue House was become the winner 🏆 with 80 point and second 🥈 place secured by Red House with 70 points. Vote of thanks was given by Principal Mr.Manish Khanna where he congratulated to winning team for their best performance.

Witnessing History: Chandrayaan 3's Moon Landing 🌕
The anticipation has been building up over the past weeks, and today is the day we've all been waiting for! Chandrayaan 3, the third lunar exploration mission under ISRO's Chandrayaan programme, etched a new chapter in space exploration.
As the clock ticks towards 6:04 pm on this Wednesday, 23rd August '23, all the eyes were fixed on the south polar region of the Moon. Chandrayaan 3 is poised for a soft landing, marking an exceptional milestone for our nation and the world.
Students of SRVS Sikanderpur collectively breath, crossing their fingers and sending out hopeful wishes as we hope for a successful landing. This endeavor has made our country the fourth country to touch the moon's surface and the very first to land on its south pole.

official website of ISRO, there will be live broadcasting of the Landing of Chandrayan-3 mission on August 23, 2023, starting from 17:27 Hrs. IST (5:27 PM).
Let's encourage the children to see the Live Landing to mark India's Historic Mission to Moon.
