In recent times, the EV industry is shifting towards higher voltage systems in order to power the traction. Although the shift helps to deliver the higher performance and improved efficiencies on motors, this necessitates an engineer to understand the safety criticality in use, operation and design of the system. The elements of system complexity and reliability need to be imbibed. ARAI, through its Academy, has organized a 2-day Certificate Programme on High Voltage Safety for Electric Vehicles on 11th & 12th June 2026 at ARAI FID, Chakan Campus.

This training is designed to build a strong foundation in EV system architecture, with a special focus on high-voltage safety. Participants will gain insights into HV electric motors, motor drive and battery systems with BMS, along with understanding complete energy flow, associated risks and essential protective mechanisms.
