On the Eve of Teachers’ Day – 2026
School: PM SHRI CHAILENGTA CLASS XII SCHOOL, Chailengta, Longtharai Valley, Dhalai, Tripura
Date: 3 rd September 2026
Occasion: 65th Teachers’ Day Celebration
On the eve of the 65th Teachers’ Day, a Peer Teaching Activity was organised at PM SHRI Chailengta Class XII School as part of the Teachers’ Day observance. As a unique expression of respect and gratitude towards their teachers, the senior students took the initiative to conduct classes for students of the lower grades.
The senior students took responsibility for conducting classroom teaching under the guidance and supervision of the teachers. They explained lessons, interacted with the younger students, asked questions, and encouraged active participation. The activity provided the senior students with an opportunity to experience the responsibilities of a teacher and understand the importance of patience, communication, discipline and leadership in the teaching-learning process.
The younger students participated enthusiastically and enjoyed learning from their senior peers. The activity also helped promote peer learning, leadership qualities, confidence, cooperation and a sense of responsibility among the students.
The initiative reflected the spirit of Teachers’ Day by enabling students to understand and appreciate the dedication and responsibilities of teachers. It was a meaningful and engaging activity that strengthened the bond between senior and junior students and made the Teachers’ Day celebration more memorable.
The programme concluded successfully with appreciation for the participating senior students and the teachers who guided and supported the activity.
