Today, our school observed Bagless Day with great enthusiasm and excitement. As part of this special day, our students visited the nearby Chabua Tea Estate Factory, where they got an opportunity to experience learning beyond the four walls of the classroom.

The students explored the tea-making process, observed the functioning of the tea factory and learned about the journey of tea from the garden to the finished product. The visit was both educational and enjoyable, providing our students with practical knowledge and memorable experiences.

Our teachers accompanied the students throughout the visit and ensured their safety, guidance and active participation.

It was truly a wonderful day filled with curiosity, joy, exploration and experiential learning. Such activities help our children connect classroom learning with the real world and develop a deeper appreciation of the work and processes around them.

JAGORON – Parent–Teacher Meeting | Building a Stronger Partnership for Our Children

Today, our school organised a meaningful Parent–Teacher Meeting under the initiative “JAGORON”, with the active participation of teachers and guardians. The meeting provided a valuable platform for open communication, shared responsibility and collective action for the betterment of our students.
The programme began with a warm welcome address by Smt. Lina Sarmah, GT, who welcomed all the guardians , teachers and participants.
Thereafter, Principal Shri Anjan Konwar highlighted the objectives of the meeting and emphasised that the progress of every child depends on the combined efforts of the school, parents and the community.
Several important issues concerning the academic and overall development of our students were discussed, including:
🔹 Review of regular absenteeism and measures to improve attendance
🔹 Identification and support for out-of-school students
🔹 Awareness regarding Nasha Mukti and prevention of substance addiction among children and adolescents
🔹 Preparation and collective efforts for Gunotsav
🔹 Ensuring Aadhaar enrolment/linkage of students as required
🔹 Plantation and environmental responsibility within and around the school campus
The guardians actively participated in the discussion and openly shared their concerns and observations regarding student absenteeism. They assured the school of their wholehearted cooperation in identifying the causes of irregular attendance and taking necessary steps to minimise absenteeism.
The meeting truly reflected the spirit of “Jagoron” — awakening, awareness and collective responsibility. When parents and teachers work hand in hand, we can create a supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to attend school regularly, learn with confidence and move towards a brighter future.

A Strong Voice Against Drugs and Addiction

Today, the ATTSA , Chabua Sub-Committee, in collaboration with Chabua T.E. Model School, organised an Awareness Rally against Drugs, Alcohol and other forms of addiction. Our students participated in the rally with great enthusiasm and conveyed a strong message for a healthy, safe and addiction-free society.

In the present time, such awareness programmes are not merely important but essential. Young minds are often exposed to various forms of addiction through peer pressure, curiosity and negative influences. As educators and responsible members of society, it is our duty to create awareness among students and empower them to make the right choices.

The enthusiastic participation of our students today reflects their commitment to a healthy lifestyle, positive thinking and a bright future.
We sincerely extend our heartfelt gratitude to the ATTSA , Chabua Sub-Committee for taking this noble initiative and for organising such a meaningful awareness programme in collaboration with our school. Raksha Bandhan is not merely a festival of tying a rakhi; it is a celebration of love, care, respect, trust, and responsibility. The sacred thread reminds us that we should always stand by one another, support each other in difficult times, and spread kindness and compassion.

80th Independence Day Celebration 🇮🇳

Today, our school celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit, pride and enthusiasm. The Principal hoisted the National Flag in the presence of teachers, students and respected parents, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

The celebration also included the soulful rendition of “Vande Mataram”, which filled the atmosphere with patriotism and love for our motherland. A colourful cultural programme was organised by our talented students, showcasing their creativity and dedication through patriotic songs, dances and other performances.

The celebration was a beautiful reminder of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and our responsibility to contribute towards building a stronger, united and prosperous India.

On 11 August (Tuesday), our school was privileged to welcome the Inspector of Schools, Smti Kabita Deka along with DPO Sri Abani Saikia , who visited our institution and interacted warmly with our students and teachers.

During the visit, special attention was given to our Vocational classes, particularly the Power and Healthcare classes The visiting officials interacted with the students, enquired about their learning experiences, and asked them about their career aspirations and future goals after completing the l courses.

*Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina – A Step Towards Empowering Our Daughters*

Today, our school witnessed a meaningful and inspiring occasion with the distribution of Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina forms among the girl students of Classes XI and XII

The programme was graced by our esteemed *Chief Guest, Sri Runtu Saikia,along with Panchayat President Sri Salman Kumar and Ward Member Smt. Rupa Bagh*. The presence of our respected parents made the occasion even more special.

Today, under the inspiring leadership of our respected Inspector of Schools, Smt. Kabita Deka, the members of the District Academic Council, Dibrugarh visited the flood-affected areas of Charaideo district to extend academic support and encouragement to the Class X students.

This humanitarian initiative was made possible through the generous contributions of the teachers of the District.With the funds contributed by them, we arranged and distributed six notebooks, a geometry box, and pens to each student. More than 200 Class X students have already benefited from this initiative, and in the coming days, we are committed to reaching every Class X student in the affected areas.

During the visit, our respected Inspector of Schools, Smt. Kabita Deka, interacted warmly with the students, listened to their experiences, and inspired them to remain determined, continue their studies with confidence, and never lose hope despite the challenges they are facing.

I feel truly honoured and grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of this noble initiative. Seeing the courage and determination of these young learners was deeply moving. Inauguration of "Kanchiyali" – 5th Edition -

Today was a memorable occasion at our school as the 5th Edition of our Wall Magazine, Kanchiyali, was officially inaugurated by our respected Principal.

This wonderful edition has been thoughtfully planned, designed, and published by our five dedicated intern teachers from DIET Chabua—Bitupan Gogoi ,Anee Duwarah ,
Ranjeeta Sharma ,
Borakha Kakoti and
Bhitalee Gohain. Their hard work, creativity, teamwork, and commitment have resulted in a truly remarkable wall magazine that reflects both talent and passion for education.

While inaugurating the magazine, our Principal emphasized that creative initiatives like Kanchiyali play a vital role in nurturing students' imagination, enhancing their creative expression, and motivating them to participate actively in literary and cultural activities. Such efforts inspire our students to dream, create, and learn beyond textbooks.

During the sharing session, the intern teachers fondly recalled their memorable experiences at our school. They spoke about the love and affection they received from the students and staff, the valuable lessons they learned during their internship, and how this journey helped them grow both personally and professionally. Their heartfelt words inspired everyone present and reminded us of the lasting impact of dedication and meaningful learning experiences.

Preparing Our Children for a Meaningful Summer Vacation

As schools begins the summer vacation from tomorrow, our students will be away from the classroom for nearly a month. While vacations are a time for rest and relaxation, we, as teachers, are also concerned about how our children will spend this valuable time at home.

With this in mind, a Parents' Meeting was held today to discuss how the vacation can be made both enjoyable and productive. Parents were encouraged to guide their children in maintaining a healthy routine and participating in meaningful learning activities throughout the break.

To keep our students engaged, the school has provided:
Library books for reading.
Holiday project work and activity-based assignments to promote creativity, independent learning, and continuous academic growth.

Special Note: Students of Class X will continue to attend school during the vacation to participate in remedial classes, which have been arranged to strengthen their learning and help them prepare confidently for their upcoming board examinations.

We sincerely thank all the parents for their active participation and unwavering support.
