AWH Engineering College (AEC), established in 2001, is a self financing engineering college managed by Association for Welfare of Handicapped (AWH), Kozhikode, Kerala. It is affiliated to the University of Calicut and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). AWH Engineering College is a co-educational institution established with the sole purpose of honoring engineers of excellent qualities. The AEC is dedicated to helping students to learn and develop their skills and potential. Our faculty is committed to quality teaching and enhanced learning for students, preparing them for subsequent careers in professions and public services. The college is located in a serene sprawling and evergreen campus spread over an area of 50 acres near Kuttikattoor. It is 26 kms away from Calicut International Airport, Karipur, 12 kms from Kozhikode Corporation bus stand and 13 kms from Kozhikode railway station. The historical city of Calicut is the hub for several educational institutions, including many prestigious engineering colleges, medical colleges, polytechnics, arts and science colleges, Indian Institute of Management (IIMK), National Institute of Technology (NITC) etc. Calicut is a beautiful coastal city known as the clean city of Kerala, the God’s own Country. AEC offers at present 4 year B.Tech in 6 branches and 3 year MCA program. AICTE has already sanctioned approval for starting MTech Courses in Industrial Engineering, Structural Engineering and VLSI.

As part of the Engineers’ Day celebrations, AWH Engineering College successfully conducted TechQuest – Engineers’ Day Quiz Competition on 15 September 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Block A. 🎉

🔧✨ ENGINEERS’ DAY CELEBRATIONS | INNOVATION • SUSTAINABILITY • SKILL ✨🔧
As part of the Engineers’ Day celebrations, Kalliyath Group conducted an insightful technical seminar on “Green Steel”, highlighting sustainable practices, innovative technologies, and the future of environmentally responsible steel production. 🌱🏗️
The session was delivered by Mr. Afeef Karrat, Quality Engineer, Kalliyath Group, who shared valuable insights into the concept, applications, and significance of Green Steel in the construction and engineering sectors.
📐 BREAK THE BLUEPRINT
Following the seminar, an exciting Engineering Drawing Inspection Challenge – “Break the Blueprint” was organized for Final-Year Students and Third-Year LET Students, encouraging technical expertise, observation, and problem-solving skills.
