Well… we finally did. ❤️

For those who are new to Lilorosh, we are an artists’ brand creating beautiful, innovative tools designed to help you draw better, draw more often, and most importantly, enjoy the process.

The Smartie is our proprietary travel sketching kit, designed to hold a sketchbook and six essential tools in one sleek, compact case.

And then there’s Roshan Kurichiyanil. For those yet to discover his work, he’s an award-winning illustrator and comic book artist with decades of experience in the art industry, with a particular love for, and expertise in, inking.

So, putting together a set of inking tools curated by Rosh made perfect sense.

The only problem? It took us this long to work up the courage to actually do it. 😅

Because we know how expensive art materials can be, and we didn’t want to put together a set simply for the sake of having one. We wanted every single tool to earn its place.

So, after sitting down with hundreds of tools (something Rosh thoroughly enjoyed!), he narrowed it down to these six! 🤩

When the very lovely Megha sent me this picture last night, I panicked for a second (especially because something had happened at the studio that day! 😬). My first thought was: DID MY TEAM JUST “GLITCH” AND SEND HER SEVEN THANK YOU CARDS WITH ONE ONAM ORDER?! 😳😅

Then came her message. And I realised that these are the Thank You cards she has collected over the years from the many, many orders she has placed with us. 🥹😭💗
