Institute of Higher Education in Islamic Studies and Research (IHIR) offers two year Postgraduate course in Islamic studies and research. BA Afzalul Ulama or equivalent course
holders in Arabic are eligible to apply for the PG Course. The course is meant for equipping the students with deep knowledge in Quran and Sunnah, study of major religions, Islamic Movements, proficiency in Arabic language and literature, workable knowledge in English, Urdu and Sanskrit, studies of History, General Studies, Life skills, Physical education and ASAP. The students will conduct research work on fundamental as well as topics of current issues in religion under the Guide-ship of learned Scholars. By this course the community can be proud of young scholars, Khateebs, writers, speakers, Leaders and Daa’ees coming out of this Institution every two years. It is a 600 working day residential course with 6 semesters starting each day at 4.30 am and ending at 10.30pm. Experts in the concerned
subjects are teaching them and they include leading religious leaders of Kerala and national
and international scholars.The first batch is completing their course by August 31st 2016 and the second batch will be selected through written test and interview.
