JDT Islam Orphanage Committee ventured into field of Pharmacy education in 1996 with the commencement of Diploma in Pharmacy. Within a short time span it has become one of the most sought after pharmacy colleges in Kerala. Subsequent to the career success of pharmacists and the increased demand in the health โ€“ care industry JDT started its degree course in pharmacy in the year 2004. The institution is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences and is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The College has a team of qualified and experienced teachers who are the backbone and guiding spirit behind the success of the institution. Currently the institution is also conducting M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice). The students are provided evidence based practice at Iqraa International Hospital and research Centre. VISION

An inspiring and interactive session on โ€œB.Pharm and Beyond: Careers, Choices & Opportunitiesโ€ was conducted at JDT Islam College of Pharmacy on 13 August 2026.

We were delighted to welcome our alumna Ms. Hiba Mohammed, PhD Research Scholar, UAE University, United Arab Emirates, who shared valuable insights into diverse career pathways, higher education opportunities, research prospects, and the possibilities that lie beyond B.Pharm. ๐ŸŽ“๐ŸŒ

โ€‹In the wake of recent flooding, the dedicated NSS volunteers of JDT Islam College of Pharmacy stepped forward to extend a helping hand to our community.

โ€‹Our team actively participated in cleaning and restoring flood-affected homes, wells, and premises across the Kannadikkal areas. From scrubbing muddy floors to sanitizing living spaces, our students embodied the true spirit of selfless service and social responsibility.

On the occasion of International Friendship Day, the NSS Unit of JDT Islam College of Pharmacy, Vellimadukunnu celebrated the spirit of togetherness through a Campus Cleaning Drive, Plant & Beautify Initiative, and the Wall of Friendship, where students shared heartfelt messages celebrating friendship, kindness, and unity.
