Charles Darwin University celebrated 25 years of university education in the Northern Territory in 2014. The university’s history can be traced back to 1989 when the Northern Territory University was opened. The Northern Territory University was Australia’s first dual-sector university that delivered both Vocational Education and Training and Higher Education. A decision was made to create a new university through the merger of the Northern Territory University, Centralian College in Alice Springs and the Northern Territory Rural College in Katherine and a partnership with the Menzies School of Health Research. This new university named Charles Darwin University was established in 2003.

As a student on this course you will study new developments in the areas of pharmaceutics, clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice and have the opportunity to develop a programme of work that meets your individual needs.

When you have completed the course, you will be able to undertake pre-registration training and apply for the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registration exam with the aim of becoming a UK registered pharmacist.
