The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College organised a Soft Skill Training Programme starting on 5th March 2026 under the RUSA Equity Initiative in association with ASAP Kerala. The programme was designed as a 30-hour structured training course aimed at enhancing students’ professional competencies, including communication ability, teamwork, confidence, and workplace etiquette. The programme was inaugurated by Jumaina N P, who highlighted the importance of soft skills in improving employability and preparing students to face professional challenges in the modern job market.

The training sessions were conducted by Ms. Meghna S, who delivered interactive sessions covering communication skills, personality development, professional behaviour, and confidence-building activities. The programme emphasised practical learning through discussions, activities, and guided exercises that helped students develop interpersonal and presentation skills required in professional environments. The programme was coordinated by Muhammed Zameel K M, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, ensuring the smooth organisation and effective conduct of the training programme.

The Career Guidance Cell of Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College organised a Certificate Course on Mock Interview and Group Discussion commencing on 3rd March 2026, as part of the RUSA Equity Initiative Program in association with ASAP Kerala. The program was structured as a 30-hour course aimed at equipping students with the practical skills and confidence required to perform effectively in placement interviews and group discussions. The course covered real-time interview practice with expert feedback, behavioural question training, group discussion skills, leadership and communication development, and performance evaluation with targeted improvement strategies.
The program was formally welcomed by Dr. Sharafudheen, Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic, who outlined the purpose of the course and its relevance to students preparing to enter the workforce. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Aboobacker, Head of the Department of Arabic, who spoke on the importance of communication skills and personal presentation in today's competitive job market, and encouraged students to make full use of the training opportunity.
Dr. Usama C, Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic, felicitated the gathering and addressed the participants on the value of structured practice in building interview readiness. The program was coordinated jointly by Dr. Sharafudheen and Mr. Muhammed Zameel K M, Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, who were responsible for the overall planning, scheduling, and ex*****on of the course.
