Abheda Foundation

Five poor students from Kalighat slum area have been inducted to Abheda Foundation's curriculum of man-making. These students are from Krishnaa Foundation, an NGO that runs a tuition centre in an adjacent area.

While Krishnaa will fund their scholarship, Abheda is providing all necessary support for learning English and general communications. We keep conducting counselling sessions for these students also.

Abheda ESchool Abheda ESchool (Abheda ESchool) now has a regular uniform as well as a PT uniform.

Paramita Patra is from Jhargram. She stays in the Abheda office to study B.Com at a college in Kolkata. We bear all her living expenses and tuition fees.

Roumyadip Baidya, presently a History third year student at St. Xaviers University, managed highest marks in 3rd and 4th semesters.

A cheque worth Rs. 1000 was presented to him by the authorities as a token of appreciation.

Roumyadip, coming of a financially challenged family in Kolkata, aspires to study archeology in the Masters... and go on to do PhD thereafter.

Abheda Foundation has always been behind him. Apart from supporting his fees and living cost, we organised a thorough educational tour for him covering major archeological sites in South India. We will make all his dreams come real.

Roumyadeep Baidya, a student of 3rd year (History Hons) at St. Xaviers University and a topper there, is also a master painter and an expert craftsman.

অভেদ ফাউন্ডেশনের আয়োজনে অভেদের অফিসে অনুষ্ঠিত হল উচ্চাঙ্গসঙ্গীত সন্ধ্যা।

সেতারে ছিলেন শ্রীসৌম্য আঢ্য ও গায়নে শ্রীঅম্বরীশ দাস।

নিজের শিকড় বুঝতে ছাত্রছাত্রীদের দেশের কালোত্তীর্ণ সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ে সচেতনতার বিশেষ প্রয়োজন আছে। তাই বছরে ২ বার অভেদ ফাউন্ডেশন এইরকম সঙ্গীতের উদ্যোগ নিয়ে থাকে। বর্ষাকালে ঘটে কাব্যগীতির ঘনঘটা আর শীতকালে হয় উচ্চাঙ্গসংগীতের উদ্ভাস।
