Had the opportunity to visit Cheena Bhavana in Santiniketan. It was an honour to meet The Dean, Doctor Avijit Banerjee and about 80 students. It was pretty cool to communicate with them in fluent Mandarin. Plus their eagerness to learn the Chinese Culture and language is admirable😍

Chinese New Year going on pretty good. We follow traditions like praying to God of Sky, God of Doors, God of Fortune, Ancestors etc. Lion Dance performance. We visit families, we exchange Red Envelopes, we feasts like theres no tomorrow, Carnivals.

On New Year Eve, Lion Dance groups and musical instruments such as drums, gongs and cymbals are played loudly to keep the “bad luck” monster away.

Do I know anything about Brick Manufacturing industry?? Of course not. Im clueless.

Tips: Always do your Homework beforehand.
🚩 Tip 1. Look up both Companies website. Know their background and products.
🚩Tip 2. Get to know their products and specifications. You may not understand the specs but know the technical terms both in English and Chinese.
🚩Tip 3. Always have pen paper ready, the terms you dont know, jot down quickly, look it up in google. Its ok if you dont know some specific technical terms. Just let both sides know you need to double check before making miscommunication

A farewell lunch with the students as they leave for China, Hong Kong and US. Made sure they ate with chopsticks. They aced it 😄 I like group classes as its more interactive and students picks up faster. Will start group classes after Chinese New Year.
