রাঙিয়ে দিয়ে যাও, যাও গো এবার যাওয়ার আগে।" George College (Department Of Education), Mollargate celebrated ‘BASANTA UTSAB’ on 23rd March 2024 (SATURDAY). The students of BEd ( 2022- 24, 2023-25 ) & DLEd (2022-24) participated in various categories and made the celebration a Grandeur. Performances like group and solo dancing and singing and speech were observed. The highlight of the event remained the "কবিতার কোলাজ". The programme also witnessed Elegant Trilingual anchoring by the students. The event was Graced by our Respected Principal Sir and all the Professors and the office staff motivating the Students throughout. The ending marked with a wonderful lunch arranged for the students followed by the student and the teachers socialising and playing Holi with the colours arranged in the college which made the college premises as colorful as the season of Spring

The BBA Department of George College organised Management Fiesta '24 - MEET (Managing Enterprises with Emerging Technologies) at the Sealdah campus. The chief guests for the event were

The event started with lamp lighting, felicitation followed by the students’ presentation, speech by all the chief guests which was very inspiring and encouraging for the students. The programme was very enlightening and encouraging. It was an all day event where students made performances in extempore, ppt presentations etc. The programme was organised by the department focusing on the overall development of the students. The programme was very entertaining and enlightening.

On 9th March 2024, optometry Dept students of George college of management and science were taken for a visit to Disha Eye Hospital New Town. They were given an overview of how a multi specialty eye hospital functions. This type of industrial tour gives students an experience of the working environment of hospitals and interacting with hospital staff. We are extremely thankful to Disha Hospital Management for this opportunity.

Department of Optometry,George college of Management & Science organised a scientific seminar on "Amblyopia & its management" on 3rd March 2024. We proudly hosted Ms. Anindita Saha ,Senior Optometrist at Netralayam, a multispeciality Eye Care Centre as Faculty of the session. It was an interactive and engaging session where students of first ,second and third semesters participated enthusiastically.

George College, Sealdah is organising Management Fiesta '24 for the BBA Department on 9th of March '24 (Saturday) 11am onwards. This year the theme is MEET - Managing Enterprises with Emerging Technologies.

On 4th & 5th March, 2024, George School of Law organised a visit to the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Chinsurah, Hooghly as well as District Judge Court for the 6th Semester Students of LL.B.(H) batch. The Public Prosecutor Mr. Shankar Ganguly & Government Pleader Madam Sanjukta Ganguly had addressed the students. The students also had a great interactive session with the District and Sessions Judge Sri Sudipta Kumar De. Mr. Debasis Bandyopadhyay (President), Mr. Debasis Bhattacharya, Mrs. Babita Chowdhury. Students also got a chance to have a practical experience while listening to various benches resolving disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism.

George College of Management and Science, Chalkmir, celebrated International Mother Language Day on 28th February in the College Campus ( belated).
The program was graced by our chief guest for the event Mr.Ajay Ghosh( Bengali Teacher of Ashuti Netaji High School) who enlightened the students with his inspiring words and deep insights into the incident.
Our Respected Principal Sir, Dr. Prasun Banerjee and our chief guest inaugurated the event by lighting up the lamp, which was followed by various dance, songs, recitation, drama and other performances by students who mourned for the martyrs of the incident and embraced their own language through their performances.
The day ended with a group song ( We shall overcome) performed in three languages to emphasize this year's theme of the language day by UNESCO- 'Multilingual education is a pillar of intergenerational learning'.

George College, Sealdah celebrated International Mother Language Day - EKUSHE MUKTI ’24 with the stalwarts from the industry. The chief guests for the event were Mr. Bholanath Ghorui, Principal Correspondent, Aajkal and Mr. Arindam Basu, Sahityik.
