Today the seminar was on Uniform Civil Code (UCC).

The seminar was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Former Justice (Dr.) Sambuddha Chakrabarti of Calcutta High Court, Associate Professor (Dr). Prem Kumar Agarwal of Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration (Kolkata, West Bengal). And Prof. (Dr.) Abu Taleb Khan Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of Biswa Bangla University, and our respected Principal Madam (Dr.) Anindita Sarkar Dutta and many other eminent personalities of Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP)


And it's a great privilege to spend time with such great personalities.

গতকাল এই মামলাটা নিয়ে ভীষণ চাপে ছিলাম। ডাক্তারের কড়া নির্দেশ আছে আমি যাতে টেনশন না করি, টেনশন করলে আমার প্রেসার ফল করে এবং শারীরিক নানা সমস্যা দেখা দেয়। কিন্তু এই মামলাটা যখন রাত্রে চেম্বারে এলো এবং যখন আমি এই মামলার পুলিশের মিথ্যা সাজানো সেকশন গুলো দেখলাম যথা U/S- 329(3), 115(2), 117(2), 109(1), 76, 324(4), 351(2), 3(5) BNS 2023 & sec- 4 of WB Medical service Institution and Medical service personnel (prevention of violence and damage to property) Act 2009. জামিন অযোগ্য ধারায় মিথ্যা মামলা দেখার পর থেকে টেনশন বাড়তে শুরু করলো এবং স্পেশালি বাড়ির নিরীহ লোকগুলোর চোখের জল দেখে। এই মিথ্যা ভিত্তিহীন মামলায় আমার মক্কেলদের মধ্যে মূল দুই অভিযুক্ত যারা ডাক্তারবাবু দের ভুল চিকিৎসায় তাদের বাবাকে হারালো, পুলিশ এই দিন বিনা উপযুক্ত কারণ ছাড়াই "পুলিশ কাস্টডিতে" ৭ দিনের জন্যে উক্ত অভিযুক্তদের নিতে চাইছিল। সমস্ত তথ্য প্রমাণ দেখে এবং আমার ৯ জন অভিযুক্তদের হয়ে সাওয়াল শুনে মহামান্য হুজুর আদালত অভিযুক্ত ব্যক্তিদের জামিন মঞ্জুর করেন।

আমি ব্যাক্তিগত ভাবে মনে করি এই জয় আমার বা আমার মক্কেলদের নয়। এইজয় সাধারণ মানুষের জয়। এই জয় বিচার ব্যবস্থার জয়। মিথ্যা ভিত্তিহীন মামলা দিয়ে কাওকে জেলবন্দী করা যাবে না। এইদিন মহামান্য হুজুর আদালত তাহার আদেশে বুঝিয়ে দিলেন।
