We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of our young chess champion, Shrimat Deshmukh, at the Late Shri Shriram Kute Guruji Memorial Open Rapid Chess Tournament, held in Shegaon on 16th August 2026.

Shrimat secured an impressive 4.5 points out of 8 rounds and showcased excellent skill, confidence and determination throughout the tournament. Adding to this achievement, he also defeated a player holding the Arena Candidate Master (ACM) title .♟️

Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom at Podar International School, .

Podar International School, proudly celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with patriotic spirit, pride and enthusiasm.

The celebration was graced by our Chief Guest, Mrs. Maltitai Sandeep Shelke, Chairperson of Rajarshi Shahu Bank Buldhana. The ceremony included flag hoisting, the National Anthem and the National Song, “Vande Mataram,” sung with great pride and patriotic fervour, along with inspiring speeches, a disciplined parade and vibrant patriotic performances.

Our talented students presented meaningful acts and energetic dance performances, beautifully conveying messages of patriotism, unity, responsibility and love for our nation. Their performances not only entertained the audience but also inspired everyone to become responsible and proud citizens of India.

Our students also showcased their creativity through Patriotic Fancy Dress, Group Singing and Poster Making competitions. The winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates by the esteemed guest.

The programme was successfully conducted with great joy and enthusiasm under the guidance of our Principal, Mr. Ajay Ingle.
