Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Pharmacy, Buldana has organized Employability skills training program sponsored by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Research & Training institute (MAHAJYOTI) Nagpur for B-Pharm students from 20/07/2023 to 12/08/2023.

Day-9: 31/07/2023 (Module-9: Entrepreneurship)

The session was led by Prof. G.K. Bahekar.

The session includes the concepts of entrepreneurship, the qualities of a successful entrepreneur important skills for entrepreneurs etc.

By the end of the program, participants were able to: Define entrepreneurship and understand the different types of entrepreneurs & identify their own entrepreneurial strengths and weaknesses.

Day-10: 01/08/2023 (Module-10: Customer Service)

The session was led by Prof. S.V. Sirsat. The session covered customer service and interaction, different types of customer and importance of understanding customer needs & expectations

Day-11: 02/08/2023 (Module-11: Career Development and Goal-Setting)

The session was led by Prof. S.B. Sapkal. The session includes interests & abilities, the importance of career pathways and goal setting for your career.

The session was interactive, with participants asking questions and discussing the topics.

Day-12: 03/08/2023 (Module-12: Apprenticeships and Jobs)

The session was led by Prof. G.K. Bahekar.

These programs can help students to Get a foot in the door of a company, Build relationships with potential employers, Increase your earning potential and gain valuable work experience.

Day 13: Closing Ceremony

Conclusion:

The 13-day Employability Skills Training Program successfully equipped participants with a diverse set of skills and knowledge essential for succeeding in the job market. It is expected that the enhanced employability skills will enable participants to become more competitive candidates and contribute effectively to their future workplaces.

· The session covered verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, Active listening exercises and role-playing scenarios & developing effective written communication skills, including email etiquette.

Day-6: 26/07/2023 (Module-6: Diversity and Inclusion)

· The session was led by Prof. G.K. Bahekar.

· The session covered the value of diversity in the workplace, promoting an inclusive work environment, addressing unconscious bias and fostering diversity.

· The session was interactive, with participants asking questions and discussing the topics.

Day-7: 27/07/2023 (Module-7: Financial and Legal Literacy)

· The session was led by Prof. S.B. Sapkal

· The session includes basics of personal finance and budgeting, understanding employee benefits and retirement planning and managing debts and saving for the future.

Day-8: 28/07/2023 (Module-8: Essential Digital Skills)

· The session was led by Prof. S.V. Sirsat

· The session covered overview of essential digital skills required in modern workplaces, hands-on practice with productivity tools and software and Cyber security awareness and best practices

• The session was led by Prof. G.K. Bahekar; the session includes Constitutional Values Citizenship as per module by Skill India.
• Participants were able to learn rights & the guiding principles of The Indian Constitution
• The session was interactive, with participants asking questions and discussing the topics.
Day-3: 22/07/2023 (Module-3: Becoming a Professional in the 21st Century)
• The session was led by Prof. S.V. Sirsat .
• The session was a forum for participants to discuss the topics that they had learned so far.
• Participants were also able to brainstorm ideas that they could work on in the future.

Day-4: 24/07/2023 (Module-4: Basic English Skills)
• The session was led by Dr. S.B. Sapkal
• The session covered the basics in English learning, as well as speaking & group discussion.
• Participants were able to learn how to use the software to control and monitor industrial equipment.

The training program includes 12 modules which are Introduction to Employability Skills, Constitutional Values Citizenship, Becoming a Professional in the 21st Century, Basic English Skills, Communication Skills, Diversity and Inclusion, Financial and Legal Literacy, Essential Digital Skills, Entrepreneurship, Career Development and Goal-Setting, Customer Service and Apprenticeships and Jobs.
Day-1: 20/07/2023 (Inauguration ceremony & Module -1: Employability Skills)
• The Inauguration ceremony was held at 9:00 AM in the training hall.
• Dr. Hemant H. Gangurde, Principal Shri Sant Gajanan College of Pharmacy, Buldana inaugurated the program and gave a welcome address.
• The program objectives were outlined by Dr. Sandip B. Sapkal, Head of the Department.
• The session was led by Dr. Sandip B. Sapkal; the session covered the basics of Employability Skills, as well as Introduction to Employability Skills.
• The session was interactive, with participants asking questions and discussing the topics.

Mr. Amol Prabhakar Thakare delivered his talk on In-Process Quality Assurance.
