THE COMPLETE PERFORMER | 55-DAY RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM
What happens when training becomes creation, and creation becomes performance?
The Complete Performer is a 55-day residential immersion for actors and performers who want to take their practice deeper, through the body, voice, movement, traditional forms and performance.
Over 55 days at Theatre House, Shantiniketan, participants will work with:

NAVARASA AS AN ACTOR’S PRACTICE
Led by Keatan Jadhav , this intensive explores how Rasa can become a practical, repeatable tool for the performer.
Participants will work through:
• Body, breath & impulse
• Physical and vocal exploration of Rasa
• Rasa Graph & emotional transitions
• Rhythm, tempo & intensity
• Individual & partner improvisations
• Riyaaz practices for repeatable performance training
• Taking Riyaaz beyond the studio — into nature and space
• Developing sensory & spatial awareness
• Applying Rasa to text, character & scene work
• Moving from improvisation to scene composition
From sensation to emotion.
From Rasa to action.
From Riyaaz to performance.
The journey doesn’t end with training.
The module will culminate in a full-fledged theatre production, led by Alessandro Anil , where participants will take everything they have explored throughout the programme and bring it to the stage, performing in front of a live audience.
Each participant will also create their own professional performance portfolio, including filmed monologues, Chhau, Gotipua, Kalaripayattu and scenes with a co-actor.
