🪔✨ *Illuminating Horizons: A Day of Light, Learning & Legacy* ✨🪔
The corridors of Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Sector V/B, glimmered with a rare confluence of 📚 learning and 🪔 festivity on *16th October 2025 , as the Open Day* for the Half-Yearly Session unfolded in the Middle Wing with grandeur and grace. The air was fragrant with devotion 🌸, corridors bedecked with rangolis 🎨, diyas 🪔, and torans 🧵, turning the campus 🏫 into a realm of radiance and reverence.
The prime objective 🎯 of the day was to foster transparency, parent-teacher partnership 🤝, and holistic growth 🌱. Parents 👨👩👧👦 were welcomed warmly to review their wards’ report cards 📄, interact with teachers 👩🏫, and celebrate their children’s milestones 🏅. Classrooms mirrored months of devotion through 📊 projects, 🖼️ creative displays, and ✍️ insightful reflections.
The festive aura infused the academic meet with a spirit of joy 🎇 and togetherness 🎎. Students 🧑🏫 beamed with pride as they guided their parents through their learning journey, their eyes alight with dreams 🌟. Not only the toppers but also those who displayed perseverance 💪 and progress were applauded with heartfelt words and certificates 🏵️.

Indian classical music and dance are not just for entertainment they are designed to elevate your consciousness.
Today on occasion of World Music Day Guru Gobind Singh Public school Bokaro sector V celebrated it with full of melodies and enthusiasm to make our upcoming generation knowledgeable about Music. We had our 2022 Alumini with us to perform. Manjit kumar students of B.tech second year and Harsh Kumar student of B.tech in Computer science. They show cased there talent. Manjit kumar and Devom Chakraborty played Mohen veena And Harsh Kumar sang Raag Darbari indian classical Raaga. Under the guidance of Mr. Sanjeev Majumdar (Music Teacher, Bokaro)
Students were also given certificate of appreciation who participated in Sangeet Natak Academy Program at Chau kendra Chandankayari. Our Honorable Principal Sir Mr. Soumen chakraborty blessed all the students and motivated them to grow more. As education is important along with that Co- curricular activities are also important it build childrens mind and help them to achieve success. Also We Thank to our Management Committee members for supporting us.

Report on the Felicitation of Students for Excellence in Annual Exams
The inaugural day of the new academic session commenced with great enthusiasm at GGPS, Sector V/B on 8th April 2025, marked by the felicitation ceremony for students who performed exceptionally well in the annual examinations. The event was organized to celebrate their hard work and achievements, while inspiring others to aim high. The ceremony began with the morning prayer. Head of the Institution Principal Sir, Shri Soumen Chakraborty motivated the gathering with his inspiring words on the importance of education, perseverance, and self-belief.
Students who achieved outstanding academic results were recognized with medals, and special awards.
Vice Principal Middle Wing, Ms. Suman Nangia expressed her pride in the students’ accomplishments and emphasized the importance of sustaining their dedication in the new session. Teachers and fellow students cheered and applauded the winners, creating an environment of encouragement and camaraderie.
On 29thMarch 2025 a Cultural Exchange Program was conducted by Jharkhand Education Department. In this program many Government Schools participated. GGPS Sector V/B students participated as a guest artists.DEO Shri Jagannath Lahore appreciated the program. Two students of GGPS Sector V/B were felicitated on this occasion.
Honourable Committee Members of GGES, President Sir Shri Tarseem Singh Ji and Secretary Sir, Shri S.P Singh asserted that the felicitation ceremony not only honoured the exceptional performers but also set a positive tone for the year ahead, fostering aspirations and teamwork among students.

REPORT ON OPEN DAY : Open Day for Middle Wing was successfully conducted on 27th March 2025 in GGPS SECTOR V/B under the guidance of Honourable Principal Sir, Shri Soumen Chakraborty. The meeting aimed to strengthen the relationship between parents and teachers, and to provide insights into students’ academic progress, behaviour, and extracurricular participation. The teachers presented a detailed report on the students’ overall performance during the Session 2024-25. They highlighted achievements, areas of improvement, and suggestions to foster growth. Parents actively participated, sharing feedback and raising concerns about their children’s progress and the facilities provided by the school. Teachers addressed their queries and emphasized the importance of a collaborative approach in nurturing students’ development. Parents were encouraged to stay engaged in their children’s education. The eagerly awaited result day at the school brought together parents and teachers for a meet to discuss the academic progress of their children. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and nervousness as parents waited to hear about their child's performance.
Some students were praised for their exceptional achievements, while others were encouraged to work harder in areas they were lagging behind. The parents -teacher meet provided a platform for open communication and collaboration between parents and teachers, allowing them to work together towards the betterment of the students The event was a success in promoting a positive and proactive approach towards education and strengthening the bond between parents and teachers. A dedicated interactive session ensured transparency and fostered a sense of shared responsibility in the students’ educational journey.
Overall, the meeting was productive and contributed significantly to building a strong partnership between parents and the school. The meeting also focused on addressing parents’ concerns and queries related to exam patterns, study habits, and additional support for students facing challenges. Report: Extracurricular Enrichment at GGPS Sector V/B– A Celebration of Creativity and Well-being.
Extracurricular activities offer opportunities to learn the values of teamwork, individual and group responsibility, physical strength, and competition.
GGGPS, Sector V/B remains committed to fostering holistic development in its students, beyond the confines of academic curriculum. This report outlines the various extracurricular activities held on 8th March 2025 focusing on Art, Yoga, Dance, and Song, highlighting their impact on Students’ engagement and well-being under the guidance of Vice Principal Ms. Suman Nangia.
The school organized a series of art workshops focusing on diverse techniques, including watercolour paintings .Students demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm and creativity during the workshops. Students showcased the students’ artistic talents.
Yoga session was conducted by instructors, focusing on asanas. Students actively participated in the yoga sessions, demonstrating improved flexibility and concentration. Yoga helps to improve students’ physical fitness, flexibility, and posture.
Dance activity class was conducted to teach dance styles. Students participated in dance performances during school events and cultural programs. Students displayed a high level of energy and enthusiasm. Music activity class was conducted, focusing on various singing techniques. Students displayed a keen interest in music. The extracurricular activities conducted at GGPS Sector V/B, have significantly contributed to the holistic development of students. Extra-curricular activities offer opportunities to learn the values of teamwork, individual and group responsibility, physical strength, and competition. These activities nurture aspects of a student’s personality that traditional academics might overlook, fostering creativity, social skills, and emotional intelligence.
Head of the Institution Principal Sir, Shri Soumen Chakraborty motivated students to participate in various activities as it helps to hone the various skills. He made the students aware about digital arrest and good touch and bad touch. Vice Principal Ms. Suman Nangia asserted that co – curricular activities help students to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills in the long run also help them to improve their academic performance. Outstanding performance was done by students of GGPS sector V/B in Swadeshi Mela securing 1st position under the guidance of Mr. Sanjeev Majumdar.
Sports Achievements: Champions in marathon, Chess, Relay race of class IV ,Matka Race for class VI events were felicitated for their discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, which paralleled their overall excellence.
Prefects were felicitated for their outstanding performance, perseverance ,dedication and hard work.

Guru Gobind Singh Public School Bokaro Excels in Republic Day Celebrations
It is a matter of great pride for GGPS Bokaro that our school achieved a remarkable milestone during the Republic Day Celebrations.
On 25th January 2025, the District Administration of Bokaro hosted a magnificent Cultural Evening at Bokaro Club to celebrate the indomitable spirit of Republic Day. The event featured the participation of 16 schools, each presenting their talent and patriotism through captivating performances.
GGPS Bokaro brought laurels to the school by securing the 2nd position with a soul-stirring rendition of "Tumko Naman, Ae Mere Desh Ke Shaheed", a heartfelt tribute to the gallant martyrs of our beloved nation. Under the stellar guidance of Mr. Sanjeev Majumdar, the music teacher, the students enthralled the audience and earned accolades for their emotional and melodic presentation.
The celebrations extended to 26th January 2025, when the achievers were felicitated during the Republic Day celebration at the school. The Secretary of GGES, Shri S.P. Singh Ji, along with the Principal, Shri Soumen Chakraborty, the Vice Principal , Senior Wing, Shri. C.P. Singh, the Vice Principal, Middle Wing, Ms. Suman Nangia, and the coordinators of Primary Wing Ms. Sudha and Ms. Devanti congratulated the talented team, commending their dedication and artistic excellence.
