SVASTHYA & SHANTI
Nurturing the Nurturers — *A Journey from Wellness to Wisdom
“When teachers breathe with serenity, classrooms bloom with vitality.”
In the noble landscape of education, teachers are the silent architects of young minds and the perennial torchbearers of hope. Yet, behind every vibrant classroom lies a teacher who deserves a moment to pause, breathe, rejuvenate and rediscover inner harmony. With this vision, the Primary Wing proposes “Svasthya & Shanti”, a weekly wellness initiative dedicated to the holistic well-being of teachers.
The programme is proposed to be conducted every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Mata Sundari Ji Auditorium, with the active guidance of the Sports/Yoga Teachers and participation of all Primary Wing teachers.
*The one-hour session shall weave together the graceful disciplines of Yoga, Pranayama, Mindfulness, Meditation, Gentle Movement and Relaxation. Carefully designed according to individual comfort and fitness levels, the programme will provide teachers with a tranquil space to release accumulated stress, restore physical vitality and cultivate emotional equilibrium.
The initiative seeks to enhance flexibility, stamina, posture, concentration and resilience, while nurturing positive thinking, healthy lifestyle practices and a spirit of camaraderie. It is envisioned that every Saturday will become a gentle bridge between a demanding week and a rejuvenating weekend.
Teachers may participate in comfortable sportswear or track suits suitable for yoga and physical activities and subsequently change into regular school attire as per school norms.
