The Centre continues to take shape. Through all weather conditions, construction remains on track, with each phase bringing us closer to fulfilling the commitments of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, deeply inspired by His immersion in ancient Indian wisdom.

To celebrate the 90th birth anniversary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, we marked this special occasion with a gesture of gratitude and compassion. As a token of appreciation and respect, we offered simple food and sweets to all the workers at the project site. This small act is a way of honouring His Holiness's lifelong message of love, humility, and service to others. This celebration is a reflection of our collective admiration for his teachings and our commitment to fostering a spirit of unity and care for all humanity.

The Pedagogy Workshop for Aspiring Teachers is being held from June 16-28, 2025, at the Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education (DLIHE) in Bangalore, Karnataka. The workshop is organized by the Dalai Lama Centre for Tibetan and Ancient Indian Wisdom (DLCTIAW), based in Bodhgaya, Bihar.
The inaugural session featured distinguished guests including: Geshe Thupten Jinpa, Khensur Geshe Tashi Tsering, Director of DLCTIAW, Kasur Tempa Tsering, Chief Coordinator of DLCTIAW and Dr. Tenzin Pasang, Principal of DLIHE.

The Dalai Lama Centre for Tibetan and Indian Ancient Wisdom is organizing a Workshop for Aspiring Teachers from June 16-28, 2025, at the Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Education, Bengaluru.
Through expert-led sessions and interactive discussions, the workshop will focus on pedagogical methodology incorporating modern approaches.

Exciting Milestone!
The Dalai Lama Centre for Tibetan & Indian Ancient Wisdom, Bodhgaya has officially commenced construction of Phase-II (2BHK units) in Bodhgaya, Bihar.
Following the successful completion of pre-construction procedures and the signing of a contract with A K Construction Pvt. Ltd., a formal Groundbreaking Ceremony (Bhumi Puja) was conducted on May 15, 2025, by the contractor to start the construction of Phase-II (2BHK units).

The Dalai Lama Centre for Tibetan & Indian Ancient Wisdom in Bodhgaya is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee and manage ongoing construction activities at our project site.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct site investigations and prepare bill assessments.
• Draft engineering reports, including technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers throughout all phases of the project.

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience (exceptional entry-level candidates with strong internship experience will be considered).
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent.

The Dalai Lama Centre for Tibetan & Indian Ancient Wisdom in Bodhgaya is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cashier to manage daily cash transactions and support overall finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately handle cash transactions, including receipts and payments.
• Maintain and reconcile daily cash records.
• Prepare and submit cash reports to the accountant in a timely manner.
• Assist with basic accounting duties and data entry tasks.
• Provide courteous and efficient service to internal staff and external vendors/clients.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in any stream; a degree in Commerce is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a cashier or finance-related role.
• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping practices.
