It got its affiliation to the University of Burdwan on 17th August , 1998 and offers three years degree course of Arts faculty in different Honurs and General subjects as per the syllabus of the university. Another credit goes to the college when it was included under 2F and 12B registration of the University Grants Commission in the year 2003 and started to get its financial assistance from the academic session 2006-07. At present the institution is consisted of two NSS units and one NCC wing which are running successfully for the all round development of the students.. The College organized its first UGC sponsored two national seminars in the departments of History and Philosophy on the dates 21st and 22nd January , 2012 and 6th and 7th March , 2012 respectively. It was an auspicious assembly of eminent resource persons , scholars , professors and students all over the West Bengal where the chairperson of West Bengal woman's Right Commission, Mrs. The college is situated at Khoyrasole Birbhum , West Bengal which is approximately 40 Kms away from the district head quarter , Suri and 12 KMs away from Panchra Railway station. The students of this college also actively participate in different social awarness programme organised by N.S..S and N.C.C and also participate in different inter college games and athletics competitions of the District. In spite of many difficulties and financial hurdles the college is striving its level hard to achieve the pursuit of Higher education.
