Hon. Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji graced the occasion of 11th Convocation of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Bilaspur today only January 15th, 2025, as the Chief Guest of the event. Hon. Vice President Sir appreciated the efforts of GGV in implementation of National Education Policy 2020 in letter and spirit. Shri Dhankhar Sir blessed the graduating students and recipients of Gold Medals. Hon. Governor of Chhattisgarh Shri Ramen Deka Ji also blessed the students and offered valuable sermons to them.

Hon. Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Ji praised the efforts of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya in terms of social connect such as GGV Swabhiman Thali Scheme, GGV Sudama Yojna, GGV Shravan Line, GGV Sarthi Yojna, etc. Dr. Atul Kothari Ji, National Secretary - Sikhsa Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, mentioned about the significance of Indian ethos and values in higher education. Prof.T. G. Sitharaman Ji, Chairman, AICTE, asked the students to remain lifelong learner and become job creators instead of job seeker. Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Shri Arun Sao Ji congratulated the graduating students and Ph. D. Scholars. The occasion was also graced by the Central Government Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu Ji and MLA Shri Sushant Shukla Ji.

Ramana Rao, Director of NIT Raipur, and Guest of Honour Dr. Mukesh Singh, Professor at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, CG, highlighted tribal resilience and India's cultural richness.
