Cyber-crime is well-defined as a crime in which a computer is the object of the crime (Such as Theft, hacking, Cyber Stalking, Identity theft, Child Soliciting and abuse). Cybercriminals may use computer expertise to access personal information, business trade secrets, and/or use the

Internet for malicious purposes. Criminals can also use computers for communication and document or data storage. Criminals who perform these illegal activities are often referred to as hackers. Computer crime, or Cybercrime, refers to any crime that involves a computer and a network. The computer may have been used in the commission of a crime, or it may be the target. Cyber-Crime or Computer Crime can be divided into three broad areas:

Attacks against computer hardware and software, for example, botnets, malware and network intrusion. Financial crimes, such as online fraud, pe*******on of online financial services and phishing;
Abuse, especially of Teenagers and Young people, in the form of grooming or ‘sexploitation’.

Cyber crime awareness needs to be advanced and disseminated to each household.
