**World Environment Day Celebration at Holy Child Senior Secondary School, Bijni**

On 5th June 2026, Holy Child Senior Secondary School, Bijni celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm. The program was organized to create awareness among students about the importance of protecting and preserving our environment.

The celebration began with a speech by the Principal Sir, who highlighted the significance of World Environment Day and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives. President Sir also addressed the gathering and spoke about the need to work together to protect nature for future generations.

As part of the program, Principal Sir, President Sir, teachers, and students participated in a tree plantation drive. They planted saplings on the school campus and emphasized the importance of planting more trees to maintain a healthy environment.

The event inspired all the students to become responsible citizens and contribute towards a greener and cleaner world. The program concluded with a pledge to protect the environment and make the Earth a better place to live.

A felicitation program for the students of Holy Child Senior Secondary School,Class 12 was recently held in our school with great enthusiasm and excitement. The Principal, teachers and students gathered together to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the students. The program began with a welcome speech by the Principal, who congratulated the students for their excellent academic performance. The meritorious students were honoured with aronai, certificates for their hard work and dedication. Some students also shared their experiences and expressed gratitude towards their teachers and parents for their support and guidance. The teachers along with the SMC praised the students for bringing pride and glory to the school through their achievements. The program inspired all the students to work harder and achieve success in life. It was a memorable and motivating event for everyone present.

Rabindra Jayanti was celebrated with great joy and respect in our Holy Child Senior Secondary School to honor the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore. The special assembly began with a beautiful prayer followed by a short speech on the life and achievements of the great poet. Students performed melodious Rabindra Sangeet which filled the atmosphere with peace and inspiration. Some students also recited famous quotations and poems written by him, highlighting his love for nature, humanity, and education.

The principal spoke about Tagore’s contribution to literature and culture and encouraged students to follow his ideals of wisdom, creativity, and kindness. The celebration ended with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone inspired by the thoughts and teachings of the great Nobel laureate.
