Dear Past students/ Supporters
A big thank you for all those who attended the thanksgiving function and for all others who couldnt. We felt your presence in the warmth that pervaded the programme. The evening was a big success due to the overwhelming flow of emotions and bond between the the past students/well wishers and the school itself.
The support to the appeal made by the school management to donate Rs 1000 per year and become members of the school, was also amazing.

We are extremely delighted to inform you that due to your overwhelming support our Tilak Kanya Shala premises is now our own !
Due to your kind donations, the school land could be purchased as proposed from the Municipal corporation.This was possible only due to your support. Thank you.
As a token of the immense gratitude towards all the donors/supporters, the school has organised a thanksgiving along with an entertainment programme and refreshments on 28th march at 4.00 pm at the school. Please do attend and grace the occasion.

Dear Readers/past students/supporters
Hallo !
Tilak Kanya Shala was started in the year 1921 by a few noble Ladies of Bijapur. They went from one door to the other and collected funds as "Bhau-beej".
The School is being maintained well till date in adverse conditions by a courageous group of women of the Tilak Mahila Samaj, Bilapur.
We reckon to continue to run the schools in the best possible way despite the unfavorable conditions that we face today.
We now are successfully running the Marathi Medium primary school, a Kannada medium primary school and an English medium nursery and kindergarten school.
As the government has now decided to sell the lands, which till now were on lease, to the respective holders, we now have a daunting task of raising the funds, so as to buy the land of the school as early as possible.
The school never asked capitation from the students and will never wish to. The school has little funds by which we pay the salaries of the teachers.
Hence we hereby appeal to you all to help us in all possible ways to save the school and secure its future. we request you to donate handsomely. The donations are exempt from income tax.
The sum that has to be paid to the Govt. is Rs 4,88,000/-. By the blessings of the almighty, the beginning has been good as we are receiving good response from the people in Bijapur.
