On 29th November 2025, Dr. Saleem M. Desai, Associate Professor of Chemistry of Anjuman Degree College, Vijayapur , along with Dr. Ghuttaragi, Assistant Professor, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, and Dr. Sunilkumar Tontapur, Associate Professor of Physics, GFGC Vijayapur, served as members of the Academic & Administrative Audit (AAA) Committee at BLDEA’s S. B. Arts & KCP Science College, Vijayapur. The AAA is a crucial process aimed at evaluating the quality of academic progress and the effectiveness of administrative functioning.

World Heritage Week-2025

The Department of History and Archaeology of Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce College, Vijayapur celebrated World Heritage Week-2025 with a series of cultural and literary activities conducted from 19-11-2025 to 25-11-2025. The Valedictory Function was held with great enthusiasm.

Mr. Ameenuddin Hallur, eminent heritage activist and chief guest, highlighted the Adil Shahi Sultans’ remarkable contributions to urban planning, water management, and trade, and urged students to actively participate in the preservation of historical monuments. Dr. Saddamhusain Mujawar, Head of the Department, welcomed the gathering, introduced the guest, and emphasized the academic value of observing Heritage Week.

The Principal, Dr. S. J. Jahagirdar, presided over the function and stressed the need to protect heritage sites through sustained conservation efforts. The program was attended by IQAC Coordinator Dr. M. A. Gadyal, Social Science Forum Chairperson Dr. Ruqqia Hashmi, faculty members including Miss Ruheena Bepari, Prof. M. A. Peeran, Dr. Sayed Aleemulla Husaini, Dr. Saleem Desai, Prof. Muneer, Prof. Rajahmed, Dr. Azharuddin Daphedar, Dr. Farooqhusain Inamdar, and 94 students.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a Naat-e-Rasool. Miss Darakshan Anjuma Kaladagi anchored the programme. Prizes, medals, and certificates were awarded to winners of various competitions. Miss Saniya Inamdar proposed the vote of thanks, and the event concluded with the National Anthem.

Inauguration of Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell Activities – 2025-26

The Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell Activities were inaugurated on 27th November 2025 at Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce College, Vijayapur.
Dr. Ruqqia Hashmi, Chairperson of ASHC, welcomed the gathering. Smt. Sanakousar Mogalai, Lecturer at BLDE School of Law, delivered the inaugural address as the Chief Guest, followed by remarks from Dr. S. J. Jahagirdar, Principal and President of the event.

National Constitution Day was observed on 26th November 2025 by NSS Unit-I and II. Miss Inamdar from the Department of Political Science led the reading of the Preamble, which was then read collectively by all participants.

The Ladies Forum of Anjuman Arts, Science & Commerce College, Vijayapur, inaugurated its activities for the academic year 2025–26 on 25th November 2025. Ms. Shalom Sunaina from the Azim Premji Foundation, Vijayapur, graced the program as the Chief Guest.
