Our Journey into Amazon Publishing – A New Learning Experience!

Exploring how to publish books on Amazon has been a new learning experience for us. Around 20 cadets also realized they could write and publish their own books. This was just the beginning, so we didn’t focus on quality—our goal was to explore something new.

We learnt that Amazon can print paperbacks of Kindle books once we opt for it. We wanted to set a very low price, but Amazon has a minimum price of ₹99. We will also explore paperback printing.

You can install the Kindle app on a PC or smartphone to read books.

We've decided to use any amount collected from book sales for ATL expenses in the future. Still figuring out how the economics will work!

We were honored to have Vice Admiral Murlidhar Sadashiv Pawar, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd)visit the Atal Tinkering Lab at Sainik School Bijapur today.

The cadets showcased their innovative projects with enthusiasm and brilliance, leaving a lasting impression on the distinguished guest. Vice Admiral Pawar appreciated the immense talent and creativity displayed by our young minds during the demonstrations.

This visit inspires us to continue fostering innovation and technological skills among our cadets, paving the way for a brighter and more innovative future.

🌟 Inspiring Minds at TEDx Sainik School Bijapur 🌟
We were honored to host Mr. R.S. Hiremath, CEO of Flexitron, a visionary Mechanical Engineer, and renowned Social Innovator, at the TEDx event organized by Sainik School Bijapur on 21st December 2024.
Mr. Hiremath captivated the cadets with his incredible life journey, sharing how his passion for innovation led to the creation of over 675 groundbreaking solutions, with 225 commercialized products that are transforming lives globally. His thought-provoking speech, filled with real-life examples of his achievements, left the audience awe-inspired.
A four-time National Award winner, Mr. Hiremath emphasized the power of creativity and innovation in solving societal challenges. His dedication to nurturing young minds and fostering a culture of innovation is truly commendable.
This was a day to remember for our cadets, who gained valuable insights from a true leader in the field of social innovation.

Today, the young innovators of our Atal Tinkering Lab showcased their groundbreaking projects to Air Marshal Balakrishnan Manikantan, AVSM, VM, AOC-in-C, Southern Air Command, during his esteemed visit to Sainik School Bijapur on 13 December 2024.

The cadets impressed the Air Marshal with their ingenuity, creativity, and commitment to solving real-world problems through innovation and technology. Their efforts were highly appreciated and inspired everyone present to dream big and think beyond boundaries.
