ACADEMIC EXPO 2025 – A Grand Celebration of Learning & Creativity !

Global Sainik Academy successfully hosted the Academic Expo 2025, an incredible five-day event showcasing the brilliance of our students from KG to Grade 9 !

Key Highlights :
03 Feb – Shivnagar Pre-Primary Branch.
Inaugurated by Dr. Vithal Reddy, Principal, BVB Degree College, Bidar.

05 Feb 2025 – Kumbarwada Branch.
07-09 Feb 2025 – Main Branch. Mr Salim Pasha, DDPI, Bidar inaugurated the Expo.

As many as 352 incredible projects across various categories—Arts, Science, History, Culture, Languages, Technology, Heritage, and Region-Specific themes—were brought to life through the hard work of our students, teachers, and parents.

Grand Finale & Award Ceremony was held on 09 Feb 2025. Air Commodore Parag Lall, AOC, Air Force Station, Bidar was the Chief Guest. Mrs Vaishal Lall, President Air Force Family Welfare Association, Bidar graced the occasion with her benign presence.
Visitors from KV Bidar, AF School Bidar, Janaseva School, and other local schools explored the innovative exhibits.

The primary objective of holding the Expo in place of traditional Annual Day was to uncover the hidden talents of our students and inspire creativity, innovation, and teamwork.

The event was a huge success, with overwhelming appreciation from parents, Judges, Guests, Visitors for the dedication and efforts of GSA and the tireless work done by the students and teachers.

Children's Day at GSA !!

Global Sainik Academy celebrated Children's Day on 14 Nov 2024 with great enthusiasm and joy. Students came to school in colourful attire and were treated as the guests of honour for the day at the school. Teachers presented the morning assembly about Children's Day, recalling their own school days and childhood memories, while students listened with curiosity and engagement.

The Hon Chairman, Colonel Sharan Sikenpore (Veteran), addressed the students and delivered a special Children's Day message.

The youngest students from the playgroups paid homage to Chacha Nehru by performing a pooja in the presence of the Principal, Headmistress, Coordinators, and teachers. The teachers delighted the students by singing a song to wish them a happy Children's Day. The school was filled with smiles as students enjoyed a special treat of sweets and snacks in the canteen of Global Sainik Academy.

After all, learning is about caring, sharing, and growing together at Global Sainik Academy.

Karnataka Rajyotsava, GSA Foundation Stone Laying Anniversary, and Diwali !

On 1st Nov 2024, GSA’s Main Branch came alive with festive grandeur as we celebrated Karnataka Rajyotsava, the Foundation Stone Laying Anniversary of GSA, and Diwali. The event was a vibrant blend of tradition, pride, and joy, honoring both our State and school heritage!

Highlights of the event were as follow :
-Bhuvaneshwari Maa Pooja to invoke blessings.
-Flag Hoisting by our Honorable Chairman
-A March Past showcasing our students’ discipline and spirit.
-Lighting of the Lamp to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of GSA.
-Inspiring Speeches by Chairman, Directors, Teachers and Coordinators highlighting the Journey of GSA and its achievements.

Astra, Shastra & Vahan Pooja at GSA Main Branch

As part of the Dussehra festivities, the Astra, Shastra, and Vahan Pooja was performed today at the GSA Main Branch on Benakanalli Road. This auspicious ceremony was attended by our esteemed Chairman, Col Sharan Sikenpore, Core Group Staff, Drivers, and Nannies.

Following the Pooja, our Chairman distributed sweets all and incentives to the Drivers and Nannies, recognizing their hard work and dedication. In his address, he spoke about the significance of this ritual in honoring the tools of our trade and appreciating the efforts of the entire support team. He also emphasized the vital role that our Drivers and Nannies play in the growth of GSA, enhancing its image and complimented them for their continued commitment to the school.

GSA is grateful for their support and hard work in ensuring the smooth functioning of GSA. Together, we continue to build a brighter future for our students!

Celebrating Navaratri at GSA

Today, our main branch came alive with vibrant colors, energy, and devotion as we celebrated the festival of Navaratri! The highlight of the day was our wonderful students, beautifully attired in the different avatars of Durga Maa, symbolizing strength, courage, and compassion.

Their enthusiasm and creativity truly made the celebration special, bringing the spirit of the festival to life. We now break for Dussehra vacations, with these fond memories to cherish until we return!

Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration at GSA

The Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated with traditional grandeur at the main branch of GSA on 26th July 2024. The event commenced with a Wreath-Laying Ceremony by the newly nominated Director Designate, Dr Sangmesh Konikeri, accompanied by Dr Raghu. Krishnamurthy.

The celebrations featured a captivating performance by the children, who showcased their talents through various acts centered around the theme of the event, adding a vibrant and touching element to the occasion.

Despite being away in Canada, the Chairman of the Organization, Col Sharan, Sikenpore, a distinguished Kargil War participant, was remembered fondly on this special occasion. His mesmerizing war experiences and operational stories were a highlight, evoking a deep sense of pride and reverence among the attendees.

The Headmistress Ms Jyothi Raga, The Foundation Stage Head Dr Manisha Chokeda, Sub Maj Ram, Sub Maj Madeppa, Nb Sub Dharaj Savare, and other staff members conducted the event in a befitting manner, ensuring that the spirit of Kargil Vijay Diwas was honored and celebrated with the respect and solemnity it deserves.

Both the Director Designate, Dr. Sangmesh Konikeri, and Dr. Raghu addressed the gathering, sharing their thoughts and reflections on this significant day, paying homage to the bravery and sacrifice of the soldiers who fought in the Kargil War.

Both the Guest Speakers, Dr. Sangmesh Konikeri and Dr. Raghu, emphasized the need to remember our martyrs and soldiers. They underscored that the nation owes a great debt to our soldiers and their sacrifices. They also encouraged each student at GSA to become a responsible citizen and to serve the country, fostering a sense of patriotism and duty among the young minds.

Historic Achievement by GSA !

We are thrilled to announce that Viresh Juja, a Grade 8 student of Global Sainik Academy, Bidar, has made history by winning a gold medal in the 12th Karnataka State Sports Shooting Competition and Championship 2024! 🏅

The prestigious event, held at SAI Bengaluru under the aegis of the Karnataka State Rifle Association (KSRA) from July 5 to July 7, 2024, saw outstanding performances from our students.

Our team, comprising Viresh Juja, Samarth Khuba, and Sai Kumar, showcased their exceptional talent and teamwork, securing the 4th position out of 18 participating teams. This is a monumental achievement and the first of its kind from the entire Kalyan Karnataka region.

This proud moment is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship of our students. The entire Bidar District celebrates this incredible accomplishment.

Congratulations to Viresh, Samarth, Coach Capt TC Palanagappa and above all the Chairman Col Sharan Sikenpore for making us all proud!

International Yoga Day Celebration at GSA !

On June 21, 2024, GSA proudly organized International Yoga Day celebrations across all our branches, embracing the theme for the year ie "Yoga for Self and Society". This special day aimed to raise awareness among children about the significant benefits of incorporating yoga into their daily lives.

Experienced instructors from the Art of Living and Patanjali served as facilitators, guiding the children through various yoga practices and techniques. These sessions highlighted the importance of physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional balance, reinforcing yoga as a vital component of a healthy lifestyle.

Through interactive and engaging activities, the children learned how yoga can enhance their overall well-being, promoting relaxation, focus, and inner peace. The event was a resounding success, with enthusiastic participation from all branches, reflecting our commitment to nurturing the physical and mental health of our young learners.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the instructors from the Art of Living and Patanjali for their invaluable contribution, and to everyone who participated in making this event memorable. Let’s continue to integrate the principles of yoga into our daily routines for a healthier and happier future.
