The first and foremost questions that bother entrepreneurs in India are which type of business entity is to be formed and what will be the compliance cost? In India, three types of entities are most preferred i.e. One Person Company, Private Limited Company and Public Limited Company.

One person company is a new concept introduced in India with the implementation of Companies Act, 2013. In one Person Company, all the operations are managed by a single entrepreneur whereas two or more persons are required in other corporate entities like Private Company, Public Company and Limited Liability Partnership.
