At the earnest request of the people Carmelit Charitable society came forward to start MOUNT CARMEL SCHOOL BHUNGA.This society is one of the branches of mont carmel group of schools,founded,owned by Carmelite Charitable society with its headquarters at Hoshiarpur,Punjab.At present 13 achools are being run under this management.All the mount carmel schools are privileged to get affiliated to the co
uncil for Indian School Certificate Examination,New Delhi. Father,Josr Nedumpuram,the then director of the school and Sister Reena assumed the responsibiltiy of pricipalship.The foundation stone of present building was laid on the land purchased by Rev.Father Martin on March 13,1994 with its official inauguration done on August 27,1994.
