Mancheswar Workshop had a phenomenal year 2015-16 and achieved HIGHEST EVER , BEST EVER performances in almost all the activities. Some of them are recorded below:-
BEST EVER POH PERFORMANCE :- MCSW has turned out 1600+ POHed coaches and recorded an impossible increase of more than 53% over last three years.
BEST EVER IOH PERFORMANCE :- MCSW recorded highest ever IOH outturn during 2015-16 and recorded an almost impossible increase of 37% over last three years.
BEST EVER QUALITY PERFORMANCE :- MCSW has drastically reduced 100 days failures by continual improvement in work practices, training to staff and material input. there is almost 74% reduction in 100 days failure over last three years.
OTHER MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS :-
WHEEL PRODUCTION :- There has been increase of more than 45% in wheel production over last three years and produced more than12650 wheels in 2015-16.
BOGIE PRODUCTION :- In 2015-16 MCSW had produced more than 400 bogies in a month and recorded an increase of more than 42% over last three years.
MCSW is only workshop over IR to have ISO 9001 , ISO 14001 , OHSAS 18001 & 5 S certification. Now MCSW is working towars ISO50000 for energy management.
MCSW is most productive workshop over IR as per Railway Board data.
MCSW has achieved BIO-TOILET fitment target given by Railway Board in 2015-16.
MCSW is going to have solar generation plant of 650KW in near future.
MCSW is going to have 2nd workshop over IR to have Bio-Toilet anaerobic bacteria generation plant.
in Total 2015-16 was a very satisfying year for Mancheswar Workshop and this could only be achieved through continuous and hard work of our staff , Supervisors , officers and their families.
I once again congratulate you all for the outstanding work and efforts during 2015-16 and hope same would be continuing in 2016-17 too.
