A home, away from home, for me and my pupils, is our B.J.E.M.S-II, Here at BJEMS-II, we ensure that children enjoy times away from home. Need we say, children be given right direction to aspire through education proper? Bring up a child in the ways of honesty and uprightness, and the probability is that the child will grow up into an honest and upright man. As million says:
Childhood shows the man as morning shows the day. The future man is there in every child. The early training of a child is, therefore, a matter of supreme importance and in this case following the profound truth we intend to provide the best upbringing to our pupils. Our motto “Let learning be a joy and teaching a pleasure” is what we all strive for. Our one and only objective is with every single child, without being selective, we infuse early, a sense of discipline to promote with each passing day a spirit of enquiry. The Rudiments of knowledge shape the child here, for a better future, to redefine themselves in a positive way, to prepare themselves for greater national and international hubs in future, We nurture our students in the most innovative ways by providing them various opportunities to take out “ THE ONE” in them, and to make themselves “THE FIRST” and not a second in millions.

Checkmate to Excellence!

B.J.E.M. School-II proudly celebrates the remarkable chess achievements of Arpan Sahoo of Class 3. From securing 5th rank in the All Odisha U-09 Selection Tournament and qualifying for the 39th Under-09 National Open Championship, to achieving 1st position in the Under-09 category at an All Odisha U-13 FIDE-rated tournament, Arpan has continued to make his mark on the chessboard.

He further secured 1st position in the Unrated Category at the 66th Senior FIDE-Rated Selection Tournament and 3rd position in the Main Category at the All Odisha Open Rapid Chess Tournament.

With multiple trophies, certificates, and cash prizes to his credit, Arpan's consistent performance reflects his focus, strategic thinking, and dedication to the game.

Congratulations, Arpan! Keep playing, keep learning, and keep making your moves count!

B.J.E.M. School-II proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of our students at the Hindi Elocution Competition organised by Sahodaya Schools Complex, Bhubaneswar Chapter. Jahnvi Lenka of Class VII secured 1st Position in the Junior Category, while Anwesha Panda of Class X won 1st Position in the Senior Category.
Their confident expression, eloquence, and command of Hindi have brought yet another proud moment to BJEMS-II. Heartiest congratulations to both our young achievers!

A gentle drizzle could not dampen the spirit of patriotism at B.J.E.M.S. II, as students, parents, teachers and members of the school community came together to commemorate the 80th Independence Day.

The celebration was graced by Chairman, B.J. Education Society, Sri Raghunath Mishra, as the Chief Guest, in the presence Manager, Sri Sisir Rao; Principal, Sri Barada Prasad Paikaray; Vice Principal, Dr. Manoranjan Bej; and members of the School Management Committee.

The programme began with a soulful rendition of the State Song, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag and the National Anthem. The Quami Nara by the NCC cadets added to the patriotic fervour of the occasion.

Student speeches and cultural presentations reflected the spirit of the nation and the significance of Independence Day. The celebration also featured the release of the school journal Expression, the Investiture Ceremony of the Students’ Council, prize distribution, and the inauguration of the English Wall Magazine Echoes of Freedom. Students’ creativity was further showcased through the Inter-House Display Board Arena, T-Shirt Designing Exhibition and Wall Painting.

The rain may have drizzled, but it certainly did not dampen the enthusiasm of our young patriots. The day was a fitting celebration of freedom, responsibility, leadership, creativity and service to the nation.

From Kitchen Skills to Culinary Thrills!

B.J.E.M. School-II hosted the School-Level Competition of the CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026–27, a national CBSE Academic initiative designed to develop practical culinary skills, food safety habits, and nutritional awareness among students of Classes VI–XII.

Our students stepped into the kitchen with creativity and confidence, showcasing their culinary skills through cooking, presentation, teamwork, and thoughtful food choices.

It was a lively day of cooking, creating, learning, and a little healthy competition, with our young chefs bringing their own flavour to the experience!

Little Hands, Big Ideas!

Our LKG learners got their hands busy with dough as they explored different shapes through moulding. Rolling, pressing, squishing, and shaping turned a simple maths concept into a fun, hands-on learning experience.

As they played and created, they strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, creativity, and shape recognition, because sometimes, the best way to learn shapes is to get your hands on them!
