Safety begins with awareness and preparedness.
B.J.E.M. School-II, Satyabhamapur organised a Fire Safety Mock Drill in collaboration with the officials of the Odisha Fire Service Department, Balianta Fire Station. The session aimed at educating the teaching, non-teaching, and transport staff about the proper use of fire-fighting equipment and the necessary safety measures to be followed during emergency situations.
The programme served as an important initiative towards strengthening safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and responsible response within the school environment.

B.J.E.M. School-II once again reaffirmed its tradition of academic excellence with an outstanding performance in the SSCE 2025–26 Board Examination.
A total of 125 students appeared for the examination this year, and their remarkable results stand as a reflection of consistent hard work, disciplined preparation, and the collective efforts of students, teachers, and parents.
In the Science stream, Ashutosh Behera emerged as the School Topper by securing an impressive 95.4%. Swastik Suman Sahoo and B. S. Swayamsiddha jointly secured the second position with 93.2%, while Saswoti Rout secured the third position with 91.6%. Notably, five students from the Science stream scored above 90%, highlighting the strong academic culture fostered by the institution.
In the Commerce stream, Harsh*t Sahoo emerged as the Stream Topper with an excellent score of 90.6%, bringing further distinction to the school.
The school takes immense pride in the achievements of its students, whose dedication and perseverance have once again brought laurels to the institution. A key highlight of the day was the insightful session conducted for the Social Science Department by Mr. Sadasiv Pati, Academic Head and Administrative Supervisor, BJEMS. The day was marked by enriching sessions, thoughtful discussions, and active participation by the faculty members. The programme provided a valuable platform for educators to exchange ideas, strengthen pedagogical practices, and explore innovative approaches towards effective teaching and holistic learning.
The programme was graced by Vice Chairman Dr. Niranjan Sahu. An insightful session for the teachers of the Language Department (Odia, Hindi, and Sanskrit) was conducted by eminent educationist Mr. Nalineekanta Mohanty. His valuable guidance and academic insights greatly benefited the participating teachers and made the sessions even more meaningful and impactful.

Day 2 of the Capacity Building Programme organised by COE, CBSE Bhubaneswar at B.J.E.M. School-II, Satyabhamapur witnessed an enriching and engaging session on “Life Skills”.
The programme was conducted by the esteemed Resource Persons, Mr. Manash Ranjan Sahoo, PGT CS, KV ARC Charbatia, Cuttack, and Mr. Suraj Kumar Choudhary, TGT Chemistry, Royal Public School, Kesura.
The session emphasised the vital role of life skills in nurturing emotionally resilient, responsible, and socially aware learners. Through interactive activities, collaborative discussions, and practical classroom approaches, the programme explored essential life skills such as communication, empathy, critical thinking, decision-making, self-awareness, and stress management.
The workshop provided teachers with meaningful insights and effective strategies to integrate life skills into everyday teaching-learning practices, making education more holistic and learner-centred.

Day 1 of B.J.E.M.S - II's Faculty Development Programme:
Today, our school successfully conducted an in-house Faculty Development Programme for the Primary and Secondary faculty, focusing on learner wellbeing and inclusive education practices.
The session for the Secondary teachers on “Mental and Physical Wellbeing of Learners” was conducted by Mrs. Sanghamitra Satpathy, Academic Supervisor, DAV Pokhariput and Mentor, EEDP Wing, Odisha Zone. The session highlighted the importance of supporting students’ emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing in today’s learning environment and encouraged educators to adopt a more empathetic and balanced approach towards learners.
The Primary and Pre-Primary teachers attended an insightful session on “Every Child Learns Differently (Identifying & Addressing Learning Lags in Early Years)” conducted by Mrs. Saswati Behera, Certified Master Trainer of DAVCAE New Delhi for EEDP Level. The session focused on recognising individual learning differences among young learners and addressing learning gaps through inclusive, child-centred teaching strategies.
Both sessions were highly enriching and provided valuable perspectives on creating supportive, understanding, and learner-friendly classrooms.
