We are delighted to share that our Odisha Team has been honoured with the Dance Excellence Award for Choreography at IIDSC, hosted by the Down Syndrome Federation of India and supported by the Down Syndrome Association, Odisha.

Heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Sarat Kumar Mallia, whose creativity, dedication, and exceptional choreography played a significant role in bringing this performance to life and securing First Prize for the Odisha Team. 👏🏻

A beautiful celebration of talent, inclusion, dedication, and the power of dance to create meaningful moments beyond boundaries. ❤️

Make Believe Shift | Ganesh Chaturthi 🪷

A therapeutic journey that helped our students understand and experience the traditions associated with Ganesh Puja in a meaningful, structured way.

The session began with therapists explaining what to do and how to participate during Ganesh Puja. Students then watched a movie exploring why Ganesh Puja is observed, followed by a real-world learning experience through pandal hopping, offering flowers, and seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha. 🌺

The experience continued back in the classroom through creative craft activities, supporting fine-motor skills, attention, following instructions, and engagement. 🎨

Every step turned a cultural experience into a therapeutic learning opportunity focused on social participation, independence, and functional life skills.

Training Session | Learning Pathways & Parent Partnership

An insightful session led by our advisory Head, Prof UN Dash (Alberta University, Canada) Ex Prof Psychology Delhi University and Utkal University, focusing on moving towards more individualised and inclusive learning practices.

The session explored the distinction between a learner’s pathway of learning and the level of support they require—highlighting that these are two different dimensions that must work together to shape an effective Individualised Plan.

For therapists, this perspective reinforces the importance of understanding how a learner learns, identifying the right pathway, and then determining the appropriate level of support, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.

The session also highlighted UDL, Differentiated learning and scaffolding, and meaningful parent partnership as key components of a collaborative support system.

Individualised learning begins with understanding the learner, not simply the support they need.

Welcome to INOOK where learning feels like a movie! 🍿

At INOOK, our students didn’t just watch a movie they experienced the whole movie-theatre journey. From purchasing tickets at the counter and exchanging money, to choosing and buying snacks, participating in games, and finally finding their seats, every step was designed to build real-world independence through meaningful, hands-on learning.

The experience helped our children practise everyday skills like money handling, communication, following a sequence, making choices, waiting, social interaction, and understanding the do’s and don’ts of a movie theatre all within a fun and familiar setting.

And the best part? They were having an absolute blast while learning! ❤️

Because at INOOK, we believe that life skills are best learnt when children are given the opportunity to experience, explore, make choices, and simply be themselves.

A celebration filled with pride, joy, and the spirit of freedom! 🇮🇳✨

Our students came together to celebrate Independence Day through vibrant dance performances, soulful music and vocals, inspiring speeches, and expressive drama. Most importantly, our SEN students took the stage with confidence, enthusiasm, and joy—reminding us that every child has a unique voice, a unique talent, and a place to shine. ❤️

At KIIT SEN Globe, our support staff participated in an interactive training session on the dos and don'ts during student commute. Through engaging presentations and practical role play activities, the session strengthened their understanding of student safety, appropriate conduct, emergency response, and compassionate care while accompanying children.

By empowering our support staff with the right knowledge and skills, we continue to ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive commuting experience for every child.
