On April 1, 1936, Odisha became the first state in India to be formed on a linguistic basis, carved out of Bihar, Bengal, and the Madras Presidency —because history knew it deserved its own identity!

From the wisdom of Utkalmani Gopabandhu to the vision of Madhusudan Das, from the sweetness of Rasagola to the rhythm of Odissi—Odisha is where heritage, art, and flavors come alive!

Exciting News from Little Steps Preschool! We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new daycare center on August 15th! Our center will be open from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We offer motherly care, nutritious meals, and a variety of extracurricular activities. Plus, we’re here to help with homework completion. Come see how Little Steps can make a big difference in your child's life.

🌟 **Ratha Jatra Celebration at Little Steps Preschool, Nandan Vihar, Bhubaneswar!** 🌟

Our tiny tots at Little Steps Preschool, Nandan Vihar, Bhubaneswar, joyfully celebrated the auspicious Ratha Jatra festival by pulling the chariot of Lord Jagannath.

The event was a beautiful blend of tradition, devotion, and joy.

Here’s a glimpse:

The excitement began with preparations as our little ones eagerly awaiting the grand celebration.

Kids adorned traditional attire and makeup, looking adorable and divine.

The Aagyan Mala (Garland of consent) , symbolizing consent and blessings of MahaPrabhu gave it the ideal start & Gajapati was invited

A symbolic chariot sweeping was done by the Gajapati (King) , preparing it for the divine journey.

Our young devotees participated in a heartfelt puja, seeking blessings from Lord Jagannath.

The highlight of the event – tiny hands and big hearts pulled the chariot with great enthusiasm and devotion.

Delicate flower offerings were made by our little ‘Phula Walis’.

A heartfelt coconut offering was made, embracing the essence of devotion by Dasia Bauri.

Traditional Poda Pitha was offered by the loving Mausi; adding a sweet touch to the celebration.

Our dedicated teachers & assistants joined in, pulling the chariot and guiding the little ones.

The event concluded with a serene puja conducted by the Loknath temple priest of Nandan Vihar.

The entire event was a vibrant celebration of culture and spirituality, bringing immense joy and learning to our young hearts.
