Queen of Hearts and Ace of Spade
The play is originally written in Odia by Biswajit Das in 60s, and translated into English by his illustrious son Samanjas Das. Directed by me (Satyabrata Rout). Rehearsal is going on in Delhi. Show is at Bhubaneswar on 18 August to celebrate the playwright’s birthday.

Established in 2024 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, “The School of Performing Arts and Creative Expressions”(Space Academy) is dedicated to advancing serious theatre activities and fostering a vibrant theatre movement in the country. SPACE integrates Theatre deeply into India’s cultural identity through Academic Excellence, offering world class structured programmes that combined theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

SPACE Academy runs a full-time 6 month ACTING course in its campus with hostel facilities for outstation students.
