AML also becomes the pioneering institution in the state by offering the first Broadcast Journalism programme in the region. Academy for Media Learning (AML) runs professional training and career programs on communication, media production, media management and media technologies in both on-campus and off-campus mode. Our industry-oriented PG Diploma and Diploma courses and short-term capsules aim to provide education, training and hands-on skills to young media aspirants, existing mass communication students and pass-outs and industry professionals at different levels. Apart from designing innovative career programs, AML also takes up teaching, training, production and consulting assignments and knowledge partnership programs for mass communication schools, universities, leading media houses, Govt. AML is also the first ever media finishing school in Odisha with its own professional studio for audio and video production, along with a web channel in partnership with YouTube. The students can learn various aspects of audio-visual productions using the independent technical infrastructure including HD cameras, latest audio production systems and Windows and Mac machines for post-production work. Further, the high quality and engaging digital media content made by the students shall be shared with the local and international viewers through the dedicated web channel- OdishaLIVE. As the core philosophy of the institution, AML aims to offer the students and media professionals training and hands-on experience through highly engaging lecture and demonstrations, practical exercises, regular seminars and workshops, interaction with the industry experts, live projects, internship at leading regional and national media and production houses etc. We are committed to offer 60 to 70 per cent of the teaching and training content as pure demonstrations, practical exercises and workshops.
