n March 2006 by a merger of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers (IIE). The Institution of Engineering and Technology is registered as a Charity in England and Wales (no 211014) and Scotland (no SC038698). IET members operate almost 100 Local Networks as well as 21 Technical and Professional Network

IET has 4 local Networks in INDIA : Kolkata , Mumbai , Chennai and Delhi

ITER is an Academic Affiliate of IET and its Student Chapter has more than 150 students . The Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), established in 1996-97, is located at Bhubaneswar and is spread over 40 acres of landscaped area within the corporation limit of Bhubaneswar. It is 8 kilometers from Bhubaneswar Railway Station, 4 kilometers from the Airport and 2 kilometers from the Govt. ITER has attained the status of a premier institution of engineering and technology in eastern India. National Board of Accreditation (AICTE) has accredited and reaccreditaed all its eligible programmes. ITER has gained respectability in technical education for its innovative curriculum, impressive placement, industries interface and well qualified faculty members. The institute has an enrolment of nearly 5600 students who follow a pre-announced academic calendar. The institute has MOU with IIT Bhubaneswar, IMMT Bhubaneswar, NALCO, CIPET, Infosys, Mindtree, Hexaware, and Wipro to orient the teachers about the needs of the research, development and industrial consultancy. Accordingly students are constantly motivated to apply the knowledge and skill.The students are sensitized and groomed to work in an environment characterized by changing technology and transnational mobility. The students are also made aware of the multifaceted needs of the industry :

i) Manufacturing sectors like steel, mineral and other engineering industries
ii) Agricultural sectors
iii) Information Technologies
iv) Teaching and Research
v) Govt. and Public undertaking etc. ITER has fourteen academic disciplines. NNSC 2014 is National Network Security Championship with workshop series jointly being organized by Association for Computer Machinery, IIT Delhi and Network Bulls, Gurgaon.

The main focus of workshops is on creating a awareness amongst students for Networking and giving students insight knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches.

This championship aims to reach the students across the country and to spread insights of Real Industrial Networking concepts and to make them aware with technologies that are holding the Network of the world, let it be Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Stock Exchange, Airtel, Vodafone, British Telecom etc.
NNSC Championship will be held in April 2014 at IIT Delhi. This championship, which is sponsored by ASIA’s Biggest Cisco Training Labs- Network Bulls - Gurgaon, will help students across country to meet at same grounds and to learn about Cisco/Networking Technologies.
