School of Human Resource Management organized a faculty development program on the theme 'Brain Rewiring Techniques: Innovation and Productivity in Teaching and Research' on May 6th, 2024, for all faculty of XIM University. The FDP was facilitated by Mr. Amit Garg, Chief Enabling Officer, Kushalta Private Limited, and Mr. Sourav Mohanty, Consultant, Kushalta Private Limited, and was attended by 41 faculty members from across various schools of the University. The workshop provided a unique learning opportunity by exposing the audience to a series of techniques to remove brain blockages in order to surpass self-limiting beliefs and bring more positivity into life and work. The FDP was coordinated by Dr. Mousumi Padhi, Associate Dean, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University, and Dr. Subhra Pattnaik, Associate Professor, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University. It was inaugurated by Dr. Andrew Dutta, Dean, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University. The valedictory speech was delivered by Fr. Antony R. Uvari, S.J., the respected Vice-Chancellor, XIM University.

The School of Human Resource Management conducted a leadership talk on "The Leader of Tomorrow" on 17 February2024 under the leadership of Dr. Andrew Dutta, Dean, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University.

The talk was facilitated by esteemed guest speaker - Mr. Aniruddha Majumdar, Vice President and Senior Project Manager-JP Morgan and Chase, Bangalore. It was coordinated by Prof. Sanjay Bhattacharya, Assistant Professor, Prof. Subhra Pattnaik, Associate Professor, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University along with the first year MBA HRM class representatives - Mr. Meet Shah and Ms. Rashi Sahu.

The talk generated extremely rich insights on how individuals could balance the wheel of life on various aspects in order to be happy and successful.

We are thankful to Mr. Ankush Arora, CHRO, Oxanne Partners for conducting guest lectures on Long Term Incentives and Executive Compensation in the elective - Executive Compensation & Reward Management on 25-26 Nov '23. The lectures generated practical insights beyond the textbook that greatly helped the students. The course is facilitated by Prof. Subhra Pattnaik, Associate Professor, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University.

The School of Human Resource Management conducted a leadership talk on "Transforming the Role of an HR Leader" on 26 November 2023 under the leadership of Dr. Andrew Dutta, Dean, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University.The talk was facilitated by esteemed guest speaker - Mr. Ankush Arora, CHRO, Oxanne Partners. It was coordinated by Prof. Subhra Pattnaik, Associate Professor, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University along with the first year MBA HRM class representatives - Mr. Meet Shah and Ms. Rashi Sahu. The talk generated extremely rich insights on the evolving roles of HR in today's business world and stressed on the need of an HR Leader to understand the business in and out. It enlisted the competencies needed in a person to become a success HR leader today.

It was coordinated by Prof. Subhra Pattnaik, Associate Professor, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University along with the first year MBA HRM class representatives - Mr. Meet Shah and Ms. Rashi Sahu. The talk generated extremely rich insights on the effect of culture on peoples' behaviours, perspectives, perceptions and decisions across the globe. It ended with understanding how the difference in mindset and styles of operating affects the business transactions in the international context.
