🏏🇮🇳 Historic Moment for Odisha and India! 🇮🇳🏏

Heartfelt congratulations to on creating history!

For the first time, a woman cricketer from Odisha has represented India in Deaf Women’s Cricket and helped the Indian Deaf Women’s Cricket Team achieve a historic 5–0 T20 series victory over Sri Lanka.

A special thanks to the Odisha Deaf Cricket Association (ODCA) for selecting and supporting Dipti Rani Sahu on her journey to the national team.

This remarkable achievement is a proud moment for Odisha, the Deaf community, and India. May it inspire many more Deaf girls to dream big and achieve success in sports.

General Body Meeting – 25 July 2026

The General Body Meeting will discuss several important matters that may have a significant impact on district associations and members, including:

• Acceptance of resignations of office bearers and Executive Members.
• Affiliation fees for District Associations (2025–2027).
• Planning for the 47th State Foundation Day.
• Sports, Boys’ Hostels, and infrastructure development.
• Issues concerning Executive Members of District Associations.
• Strengthening unity and the future development of the Association.

I hope all delegates actively participate, ask constructive questions, and work together in the best interests of the Deaf community. Transparency, accountability, and good governance are essential for the future of the Association.

Smt. Janina Jena was working as Attendant 30yrs in the Nursery School for the Deaf managed by Odisha Association of the Deaf, Odisha since 01.01.1994. She retires from her duties today on 29th February 2024. After attaining the age of Superannuation. During her tenure as attendant. She was taking very Good Care of the Deaf Children inmate.
May God Bless her to live a long like.
