Our first year B.Tech students visited the World Skill Center, gaining valuable exposure beyond the classroom. The visit included hands on orientation in the Advanced Robotics Division, insights into the ultra-modern Vertical Transport Lab and practical understanding of Advanced MIG/MAG Welding techniques.

A key highlight was witnessing the YASKAWA industrial robot in action, offering students a real-time glimpse into advanced automation and manufacturing processes.

Such experiences play a vital role in bridging academic learning with industry practices, preparing our students to become future-ready professionals.

NMIET’s official cricket team yet again emerged victorious at inter college tournament- Ranbhoomi at Bramhastra event organised by competing among 16 teams.

With consistent wins over COEB, IMIT, Sudhananda College and Jharkhand University, the team delivered a commanding performance in the finals, posting 147/4 and restricting the opposition to 75/6 in the 8-over format.

Our Cyber Safety Awareness Programme, led by Cyber Crime Cell Officer, ACP Akshaya Kumar Nayak from Commissionerate Police Bhubaneswar- Cuttack, offered students and faculty a deep dive into real-world cyber threats and preventive strategies.

From hands- on guidance using mobile phone settings to navigating government platforms for digital safety, the session focused on practical, everyday measures to protect personal data and avoid scams.

Highly engaging and insightful, the session kept everyone hooked till the very end, while offering a unique perspective from the frontline of cyber crime enforcement.

Be a lifesaver- join the Mega Blood Donation Drive at NMIET on 20th February, organized in association with Rotary Club Bhubaneswar Centennial, in the gracious presence of Padmashree Dr. Ashok Mahapatra.

The two day RC Parida Memorial Inter-College Cricket Tournament, graciously hosted by NMIET, concluded on a high note with Sri Sri University emerging as the Champions and OUTR finishing as the Runner-Up.

All participating teams were felicitated with trophies presented by popular Indian cricketer and proud NMIET alumnus Anurag Sarangi, whose presence added pride and encouragement for the young players and made the occasion even more memorable.

More than just a competition, the tournament was organised in fond memory of our Founder Chairman Sir, whose love for cricket and belief in holistic education continue to inspire the NMIET family.

NMIET's NSS Unit in partnership with Commissionerate Police organized a free helmet distribution drive at AG Square, Bhubaneswar. Special thanks to Sura Routray Sir, former Minister of State, who happened to stop by and personally appreciated our students for their civic responsibility and noble initiative.

Through the free helmet distribution drive during National Road Safety Month 2026, our volunteers actively promoted responsible riding and road safety, engaging commuters with a simple but powerful message- every helmet saves a life.
