BMPS-Takshila School BMPS Takshila is a Senior Secondary CBSE affiliated school in the heart of Bhubaneswar. Last year i.e. 2010 we launched two schools i.e.

Takshila schools (TKS) are initiative of Educomp solutions Limited, with an objective to cater to the needs of Indian Middle class. TKS operates at a fee structure of 30,000 and were launched in 2008 in Ahmadnagar, Gaya and Sangli followed by Hoshiarpur and Bhubaneshwar in 2009. Begusarai and Barnala, taking total tally to 7 across India. TKS, as a brand will be franchised now and road map for next 5 years has been created, where in we are targeting at 1000 schools pan India; good number of deals have been already signed for next years. The parent profile associated with TKS in existing locations is from SEC A.

Jagannath - the Lord of the Universe- goes on annual sojourn with siblings & the entire world comes together celebrating the divine journey. BMPS Takshila School celebrates the occasion with faithful fervor, carrying forward the rich cultural legacy of the state.

This year too, the Holy Trinity dazzled in the pomp and show that Takshilites organized. Song, dance, a play on "Dasia Bauri" and the ritual sweeping of rhe chariots "Chhera Pahanra" preceded chariot pulling. Takshilites pulled the three chariots through the roads of Bhubaneswar, inspiring awe, appreciation and reverence among the onlookers.

It is through this nurturing guidance that BMPS Takshila School ensures young Takshilites learn to align passion with purpose, ambition with ability. In collaboration with Students Outreach team and renowned universities from across the country, our School organized COLLEGE GUIDANCE FAIR for our Senior Secondary students on 11.07.2026. Coordinated by the School faculty, not only was the event spectacularly successful, it also provided students and parents with a single platform of expert guidance.

Post Summer Break school moves at a breakneck speed. Academics, activities, competitions, special assemblies, exams & events leave one breathless. Amid this cacophony of school life Takshilites had their first Inter-House Competition- the Inter-House English Debate Competition on Thursday. Classes involved were 6 to 8, fighting out on the motion of "Mobile Phones are an Obstacle to Learning", while the senior group comprising classes 9 to 12 debated if "Artificial Intelligence will Redefine, not Replace, Human Potential". The Hon'ble Jury were highly impressed with the oratory of young students, especially the junior group, who despite being rookies, impressed with their stellar performances.
