Presenting the first-ever East India Pre-Worlds 2025 - a grand prelude to the World Universities
Debating Championship (WUDC). Crafted in the very spirit of the global stage, this tournament
aims to reflect the rigor and structure.

Set to take place on November 29th and 30th, 2025, this prestigious edition will be happening
online in the British Parliamentary format, bringing together many of the sharpest minds across
the globe to engage, challenge, and redefine the art of debate.

As we set out on this journey, we eagerly anticipate a year filled with stimulating debates, insightful discussions, and countless opportunities - all contributing to the growth and holistic development of our members.

Meet our Coordinator for 2025-26, Aadit Baxi. He is the mentor every junior aspires to become - always approachable, genuinely caring, and deeply invested in the team. Through his encouragement and support, he fosters an environment where every junior feels valued, inspired, and motivated to achieve their best. His nurturing nature and guidance make him a true role model for all.

Introducing our Coordinator for 2025–26, Shuvajyoti Kar. Renowned throughout the debating circuit, he stands second to none - a true maestro of his craft. His commanding presence, razor-sharp arguments, and masterful technique set the standard for excellence. His unwavering passion and expertise continue to inspire not just our society but the entire debating community.

With Aadit and Shuvajyoti leading the way, our new board is ready to guide us through a year brimming with engaging sessions, exciting tournaments, and transformative experiences - ensuring every member of Kronicle has the chance to shine and make their voice resound like a thunderous roar.

We are thrilled to announce the Leads for the academic year 2025–2026.

This year promises engaging debates, thought-provoking discussions, and opportunities galore for growth and learning.

Kronicle, our very own debating society at KIIT, is excited to set sail for the 2025–26 session with a new crew on board!

We hope that this venture will be fun and impactful, thoughtful and transformative - and that we always catch the wind.

Meet our Assistant Coordinator for the session, Rajat Mukherjee. “Working tirelessly” is an understatement once you witness his enthusiasm for developing every debater’s potential. A blend of confidence and humility, he teaches, unlearns, and relearns - all at the same time. Sincere and calm, friendly and interactive, he is sure to bring in even more cheers in the days ahead.

Meet our Assistant Coordinator for the session, Anshuman Banerjee. He has a knack for spotting meticulous details and working through intricacies. Not to mention, his patience in explaining and understanding is truly admirable. Fun yet focused, punctual yet relaxed, his versatile nature makes him a dynamic presence in the society.

With Anshuman and Rajat as part of our new board, we are ready to navigate an exciting year filled with engaging debates, meaningful discussions, and countless opportunities for growth - ensuring every member of Kronicle has the chance to shine and make their voice heard.

With the curtains drawing on 2024–25, it's time to pause and reflect on a year filled with the amazing intellectual fervour and enthusiasm that poured in from our members. From fiercely contested rounds to midnight prep sessions, this year has had moments that are now a part of Kronicle's Hall of Fame. Through losses and victories, our members have put in constant efforts, which have been felt, seen, and celebrated. We’re beyond proud of the journey we’ve undertaken together!

Kronicle has continued to be a centre of critical thought and meaningful conversations, but more importantly, a safe space where no idea is left undiscovered, and every revelation is cheered upon. It’s this beautiful blend of community and competition that sets us apart. Kudos to all those who poured their hearts into this craft and emerged not just as better debaters, but have continued to grow in all aspects of life, becoming stronger and kinder people. We are proud to propose and continue our legacy of determination, collaboration and hard work.
