XIM Alumni Committee extends its heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Hima Nandan, an esteemed alumna from the Batch of 2003–2005, for graciously joining us for the Alumni Connect session held on August 9, 2026.

With 18 years of experience in marketing and brand management, Ms. Nandan has worked across technology, telecom, FMCG, corporate branding, and real estate. Since 2023, she has transitioned into the social impact sector and currently serves as Director – Partnerships & Marketing at Udhyam Learning Foundation.

During the conversation, she shared what inspired her shift from the corporate world to social impact and spoke about finding purpose and fulfillment through meaningful work. She encouraged students to look beyond conventional measures of success and choose careers that align with their values and aspirations. One of the key reflections from her journey was that “Doing something meaningful and creating a positive impact can bring a different kind of fulfillment.”

A seasoned leader with over 18 years of experience in the employee benefits sector, he currently serves as Director – Global Benefits and Wellbeing at Freshworks. His expertise spans global employee benefits, corporate wellness, sustainable benefits, and designing scalable benefit strategies across diverse markets.

Emphasizing the need to continuously evolve with changing times, he remarked, “What will always remain with you is what you are good at. At the same time, what you are good at will not always stay as it is.” This was the key takeaway he left with the students, encouraging them to remain adaptable, authentic, and open to exploring new roles and domains while continuously learning and evolving.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Gaurav Gupta for generously sharing his time, experiences, and valuable insights with the students. His thoughtful guidance and candid perspectives made the session truly enriching and memorable for the incoming batch.

XIM Alumni Committee is incredibly grateful to Ms. Shalini Aggarwal, an esteemed alumna from the Batch of 2001–2003, for being a part of our recent session of Alumni Connect held on August 9, 2026.

With 23 years of experience across the financial services industry, she is a seasoned leader with expertise spanning finance, sales and business development. She currently heads Business Development at Escorts Kubota Finance, driving growth in the tractor financing business. Her career journey includes leadership roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Citi and Srei Infrastructure Finance, among others, giving her extensive experience across diverse facets of financial services.

Emphasizing the importance of consistency, self-growth, and embracing new experiences, she remarked, “Do show up everyday, compete with yourself, and groom yourself every single day - this will keep you on the good stride.” She also encouraged students to travel, explore the length and breadth of the country, and seek opportunities that allow them to experience diverse people, places, and perspectives. These reflections served as valuable takeaways for the students.

XIM Alumni Committee extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Nandini Bhalla on her appointment as Head of Human Resources at L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty, India.
Having over a decade of rich experience in HR practices, Ms. Bhalla is a successful professional who has worked in such areas as talent acquisition, employer branding, leadership development, and organizational excellence. Throughout her career path at L'Oréal, Ms. Bhalla has performed various roles both in India and at the company’s global headquarters in Paris that included strategic development of talent initiatives and creation of the very first L'Oréal Global Beauty Tech Hub in India. As she takes on this new leadership position, Ms. Bhalla will be in charge of the people strategy for L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty, India, with the responsibility of nurturing talent, strengthening leadership capabilities, and fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.

With nearly two decades of experience in human capital consulting, workforce transformation, organization design, rewards strategy, and talent management, Ms. Singh has built an exceptional career driving large-scale people and business transformation initiatives across industries.
