There are rarely some moments in Indian Political history where all parties give consent to something without any debate or discussions. There is often some amount of unspoken opposition even in unanimity. But when the govt. decided to confer India's highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna to an Ex-PM, not even parties, it was a celebration for the country in unison.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a man of everyone's choice, for whom not a single party raised a voice of dissent. A man who was called the shadow of Sardar Patel, though got less chance as PM (first for thirteen days, then for thirteen months and finally for a tenure) to serve but certainly has made a remarkable contribution to Indian Politics. A poet by heart, a Politician by work was also adjudged with a controversial line "a right man, in a wrong party" to whom Nehru had once said "you will surely be our PM one day, a most loved one & without opposition".

India will remember you for time immortal 🇮🇳 💐
