World Environment Day is observed every year on 5 June . The day is observed to invoke an environment conscious thought process among people. This year the Day is observed under the theme of 'Only one Earth' signifying the importance of our Planet Earth. We observe this day with the simple moto to Keep the Earth Clean and Green. Nurture the Nature. Go Green and Save Green. Reusing our today so that we don't have to reduce tomorrow. NSS-OUTR aspires to spread awareness among the youth and nurture a generation that's environmentally conscious!!

We congratulate and express our gratitude to everyone who became a part of CLEAN OUTR drive and made it a huge success. The event was organised on 14 May'22. and it was a pleasure to see around 400 and more students, staff and faculties participate in this noble cause. Thanksgiving will be incomplete if we do not express our gratitude and reverence for the revered OSD , who's constant support was the reason this event unfolded so well. We look forward to organising many such events in the future !!

Service to mankind is service to God . Keeping this virtue alive , NSS-OUTR club conducted it's induction on 9 May'22 . The induction received a huge response from around more than 150 students and the support from the University administration , faculties and staff. Seeing the willingness of students to invest their time and efforts for the society , we are ever motivated to take this club and goodwork to new heights.

Have you ever noticed a dog silently watching you as you eat your sandwich, frankie or panipuri or Icecream from a road side stall? Have you ever wondered what goes through the dogs mind then? He is clueless about why he doesn’t get to eat the stuff you are eating .
He doesn’t know money is needed to purchase food. He doesn’t know that the human he is silently watching doesn’t give a second thought to his hunger. All he can do is only stand there in hope that some piece falls off from their frankie or a little drop of melted ice cream drips on the dirty floor which he can lick off the floor then. Isn’t Hunger a universal feeling of all living beings? Let’s open our heart. Feed a stray. Share and Create awareness.
I wish to spread awareness and compassion for these hungry beings and to provide them one proper meal a day which comes from each of us. Just one meal a day!
A dog who isn’t hungry and starving is less likely to be aggressive too. We all can coexist if only we paid a little attention to these truly neglected section of our society.
Came across this beautiful post so sharing with my friends 🙏

Unity is strength. A united group of people is more stronger than an individual. Although everyone have different footsteps to follow but may be those different steps taken together makes it possible to complete that task in desired time.
This courage gives us the example that ALONE WE DO SO LITTLE, TOGETHER WE CAN DO SO MUCH.
The National Service Scheme (NSS), College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar organised a MARATHON on the 21st of December 2019 in the loving memory of the former HOD of the department of Civil Engineering, Late Dr. Hemanta Kumar Dash. The marathon was planned for a social issue 'STOP TO***CO'.
It was really encouraging how the young minds of the country came together to stand for such a cause. Everyone's faces looked like they had determined to bring about a change in the society. The marathon in early winter morning also hinted to maintain a good physical and mental health.
Congratulations to all the winners and specially thanks to all Members of NSS CET-B. Prabhu Ranjan Dash Sattwik Patra
Thanks to mam, Biswajit Samantaray sir Raghupathi Kandiboina sir and all other faculties for your constant support throughout the week.
