We're pleased to announce that Tarka Samuha is hosting the 1st
INTRA KSOL PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE COMPETITION from the 20th till the 22nd of April 2018

To take part in this competition you need to form teams of 3 and adjudicators should register individually, this competition will be in Asian Parliamentary debate format.

Tarka Samuha, the Parliamentary Debating Society of KSOL is organising 2nd KSOL INTRA PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE from 20th- 22nd April, 2018.

Here are a few glimpses of the on-going Parliamentary Debate workshop organized by Mr. Souradip Sen, Partner, Debate India.

We are at the verge of ending up with Session - 2.

Session 3 will begin post-lunch sharp at 2:30 P.M, which will be followed by a Practice Debate!

This is also to inform that the students who could not attend the first two sessions owing to the other events happening in the campus, can surely join us Post-lunch at 2:30 PM in LH-2.

TARKA SAMUHA- The Debsoc of KIIT deemed to be University, proudly presents before you a 1-Day Training Workshop by Debate India.
Mr. Souradip Sen, Partner, Debate India, is one of the most notable names in the Asian debating circuit. He was a member of the first team to qualify to the knock-out stages of WUDC from South Asia. He was a semifinalist at the Asian BP 2017, and is an elected Deputy-Chief Judge at the United Asians Debating Championships 2018.

The workshop will focus on the following :-
a) Introduction to Debating
b)Introduction to 3v3 Debating
c) Introduction to British Parliamentary Debating
● WUDC format
● Speaker Roles
d) Practice Debate

DATE- 14TH JANUARY, 2018
VENUE- LH-3
TIME- 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM

THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FEE!

The last Date to register is 13th January before 5 PM. It is open only to 60 students [Only for KSOL] on a first-cum-first-serve basis.

Hi Everyone!

We are proud to announce that the 4th Edition of KSOL National Parliamentary Debate, will be held over the weekend of 9th-11th March, 2018
(TENTATIVE- Almost there!)

- The format is of Asian Style 3-on-3

-The team cap will be at 32. Initial team cap per University is 3.

-Institutional Cross teams are allowed.

We will open registration in November and update information about the tournament as soon we can.

We further request to other colleges, try not to host their National PDs in the same weekend.
