There have been continuous threats issued by them against the country's peace and its socio- cultural landscape. They, for the last 12 years, are persevering to work against India and testing its patience and hammering its credibility abroad.

ମୁଁ କାହିଁକି ଡରିବି ଲୋକଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣି?

ଲୋକମାନେ କଣ କହିବେ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଭୟଭୀତ । କାହିଁକି? ମୁଁ କାହିଁକି ଡରୁଛି? ମୁଁ ଭୟରୁ ମୁକ୍ତି ପାଇବାକୁ କିମ୍ବା ଖସି ପଳାଇବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁନାହିଁ, ବରଂ ମୁଁ ଏହାକୁ ଦେଖୁଛି । ମୁଁ କାହିଁକି ଭୟଭୀତ? କାରଣ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ଯାହା, ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋତେ ତା’ଠାରୁ ଭିନ୍ନ ଭାବରେ ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ଚାହୁଁଛି । ମୁଁ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ଯାହା ଯଦି ସେୟା ହୋଇ ରହେ, ତେବେ ମୋ ମନରେ କୌଣସି ଭୟ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ କଣ କହୁଛନ୍ତି ବା କଣ କହୁନାହାଁନ୍ତି, ସେଥିରେ ମୋର କିଛି ଯାଏଆସେ ନାହିଁ ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଯଦି ଛଳନା କରିବାକୁ ଚାହେଁ ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହେଁ—ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‌ ମୁଁ ଯାହା ନୁହେଁ ତାହା ଦେଖାଇବାକୁ ଚାହେଁ, ତେବେ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳ ହୋଇଯାଏ ।ତେଣୁ, ମୁଁ ଯଦି ସବୁଠାରେ ଏବଂ ସବୁ ସମୟରେ ନିଜେ ନିଜ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରୂପରେ ରହେ—ଚାହେଁ ତାହା ରାସ୍ତା ହେଉ, ପରିବାର ହେଉ, କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ହେଉ, ରୋଷେଇ କଲାବେଳେ ହେଉ, ବାସନ ମାଜିଲାବେଳେ ହେଉ କିମ୍ବା ଚଟାଣ ସଫା କଲାବେଳେ ହେଉ—ମୁଁ ଯାହା, ମୁଁ ସେୟା ହିଁ ଅଟେ ।

ମୁଁ କୌଣସି ମୁଖା ପିନ୍ଧେ ନାହିଁ କିମ୍ବା ଭଣ୍ଡାମି କରେ ନାହିଁ । ଯେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ଛଳନା କରେ ନାହିଁ, ଯେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ କୌଣସି ମୁଖା ପିନ୍ଧେ ନାହିଁ, ମୁଁ ଯାହା ମୁଁ ସେୟା ହିଁ ହୋଇଥାଏ—ତାହା ସେହି ସମୟ ପାଇଁ ମୂର୍ଖାମୀ ହେଉ, ଚତୁରତା ହେଉ, କପଟତା ହେଉ କିମ୍ବା ଭୟଭୀତ ଅବସ୍ଥା ହେଉ, ମୁଁ ସେୟା ହିଁ ଅଟେ । ଏଥିପାଇଁ, କିଏ କଣ କହୁଛି ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୋ ମନରେ କୌଣସି ଭୟ ନଥାଏ ।"—

SHOULD I BE AFRAID OF WHAT OTHERS SAY ?

I am afraid of what people say.

Why? Why am I frightened? I don’t want to escape from fear, so I am looking at it. Why am I frightened? Because I want them to think of me differently from what I am. If I am what I am, I am not frightened; I don’t care what they say or don’t say. But if I want to pretend and impress them, that which I am not, and then I depend on them.

So if I am myself everywhere, at any time, whether in the street, in the family, in the office, when cooking, washing dishes, polishing the floor, I am what I am, I don’t put on a mask, I don’t pretend.

When I don’t pretend, when I don’t put on a mask, I am what I am, whether stupid, clever, cunning, frightened – I am that, for the time being. Therefore, I have no fear of what anybody says.

Though codification is in the minds of people, will doggedly work for them till its fruits fall into their laps painting a smile of contentment. The dream will come true, life will be easy but more sene gratification would😂 be sought subsequently leading to an unfulfilled life, meaningfulness is lost in the vast ocean of probabilities and expectations.

Ecstasy is traceable to where karmic peace exists and this works out only if one is deeply focused and works with least expectations.

It is sensible though sounds senseless.

Education
System in Odisha.

System needs complete overhauling. It is a system existing for long without undergoing intensive scrutiny and reviews . Impartial and unbiased Internal and external auditing of any system, to make it work effectively, is mandatory. The longer it stays without critical assessment, bigger the problem encountered by the authority. It turns redundant creating toxic outcome affecting finally the students and subsequently the state/nation. Today it has happened in the state of Odisha. The lackadaisical attitude of the state administration, particularly the education ministry for long, starting at least two and half decades ago, has brought the system down to dust.

Symptoms are glaring and drawing everyone's attention beckoning imminent danger. But it failed time and again to achieve its goal. Elected people are too busy in pursuing other ventures instead of providing necessary support to improvise it. This has been everyone's responsibility in the previous government and the existing one too. But no one is keen to take drastic remedial steps fearing backlash.

What happens as a result of this ?

1. Teachers don't come to classes regularly
2. Absenteeism is a common issue among the teachers and students
3. Lessons are left incomplete during the session leaving students in lurch.
4. This leaves students vulnerable and they fail miserably in exams
5. Teachers lack proper training and understanding of the subject they teach.
6. Students learning is 'hit-or-miss' which is deterrent to their holistic development
7. Most of the teachers have no conceptual clarity on veried skills and grasp on topics they teach.
8. Rote learning is emphasised till 12th. Class notes are distributed among students making them lazy with misplaced focus on career and future
9. In English medium teaching schools, students and teachers communicate in either Hindi or Odia.
10. General knowledge is under developed and students show no interests in knowing and receiving new information on their subjects / topics which are taught in their class. Teachers are unaware of information and latest developments on most of the topics and outside the syllabus as well.
11. Extracurricular activities are restricted ensuring unremitting mental pressure on students. They are advised to boost their rote learning capabilities only.
12. Unhealthy and nagging çomparison with children in neighborhood or friends and relatives' children, is a common feature seen among parents. Teachers too get involved in such activities exerting uncalled for mental stress among their own children.

There are many other issues which require immediate attention of school authority and parents but no one pays heed to these. The desired quality gets slowly atypical and turns into a new normal.

Revamping is urgent and immediate, failing which the future of new generatio is going to be a debacle, breaking the strong base of educational backbone and making the nation embarrassed while it is being pushed back by 20 years or more in the said segment of development.

Lets make efforts to provide quality education to our children to be able to build our and their better future together.

Morning at Shantipally, Sahid Nagar, Today, 02.08.2026.

It was an outstanding scenario wherein all the veteran and hardworking leaders of the area were present with our team members. Discussions were held on various issues faced by the inhabitants of Shantipalli. Finding our objectives and intentions, they were appreciative and welcomed us all. Assured to get our services during their difficult times. Such approaches were never made before, as they themselves expressed it happily. It gave our members a great sense of satisfaction and encouragement with meaningful feelings.

The Central Bhubaneswar Team for Social Work ( cbtsw) promised to uphold it and keep extending the team's helping hand whenever and wherever workable.
