Kedar Art Centre was founded by Late Guru Kedarnath sahu in 1988. The centre has been imparting training to young students in seraikella under the guidance of it's present director Shri. Malay kumar sahu. The institute has students and researchers from all over the world.
Malay kumar sahu trained under his Father and Guru Shri. Kedarnath sahu. He has performed in several National and International Dance Festivals along with his group.

Sangeet Natak Akademi's project in support of Chhau Dance of Mayurbhanj at Rairangpur has been launched in the Year 1994 with a view to promote, sustain and provide performance opportunities to this artistic tradition. Support is also extended both for strengthening the existing performers and setting up new training centres, thereby creating ambience for regular training and practice of Chhau in Mayurbhanj. The Training programme has been continuing more than a decade in places like Mayurbhanj and Seraikella.
