Proud of my 20 lovable KIIT and KISS students for performing Shakespeare’s plays in Santali language today in Bhubaneswar, before a distinguished gathering of respected guests from different fields.

After their return from Romania, they had performed at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, before ambassadors, diplomats and other eminent guests. Today, they once again made all of us proud in Bhubaneswar. Everyone loved and appreciated their performance so much.

For me, this is a matter of great happiness. Our children are taking Santali language, tribal culture and the pride of Odisha to such respected platforms.

My heartiest congratulations to all the students, teachers and team members who worked sincerely for this beautiful performance.

We were honoured to welcome a distinguished 05 member delegation from the Newcastle University, led by Prof. Nigel Harkness, Deputy Vice Chancellor to KIIT, marking another significant milestone in our shared commitment to advancing global academic collaboration and creating transformative opportunities for students, researchers & faculty.

The visit fostered meaningful exchanges of ideas and strengthened the bonds between our institutions. Through engaging interactions with our academic community, discussions with faculty members and tours of key facilities, the delegation experienced KIIT’s dynamic and multidisciplinary ecosystem of education, research, innovation and global engagement. Together, we continue to build pathways for impactful partnerships, groundbreaking research and a future driven by knowledge, innovation and shared purpose.

We were honoured to interact with Prof. Nguyen Phong Dien, Vice President, along with other esteemed faculty members of Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội - Hanoi University of Science and Technology, in the presence of our Directors and Deans from KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology during our visit to Vietnam. The meeting provided an excellent platform to discuss avenues for academic collaboration, joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange opportunities and strategies for strengthening institutional partnerships between our universities.

On this occasion, we were privileged to present a copy of My Mother, My Hero, authored by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, to the esteemed leadership of HUST. The film beautifully presents the life, love, devotion and message of Lord Krishna. Such films help our young generation remain connected with Indian culture, spirituality and values.
